Good afternoon all my lovelies! I'm here to share some spooky cuteness with you - fresh from Polkadoodles! Yes, that's right, there are FOUR too cute to spook new clear stamp sets available in store. An absolute must-have for Halloween lovers like me!
For today's inspiration, I have created an altered box. This was made using elements from the Fab-Boo-Lous clear set and the Hey Pumpkin clear set. These are fun to mix-n-match with!
To create this altered box (that I stole out of my son's room - it held a card game that he hasn't looked at in over a year...so more for mama, right?!), I printed some papers from Polkadoodles' Halloween/Autumn Papers 2 collection so I could get to work. I covered the sides of the box with the bat papers and set aside to dry. I stamped the ghostie and gave him some shading, cut out and gluved over the top of the colored paper, which is beneath the clear lid of the little box. I stamped the sentiment, spider web and spider then gave him some hand-drawn lines leading back to his web. The cover of the box was already orange, so to finish things off, I added the black organdy ribbon over the top. I used the ends of the ribbon to tie on the pre-printed & foiled tag that I decorated with the witch hat, and put the flying bats in the opposite corner! Spooky good fun!

Lol, I love the idea of raiding your sons bedroom, I will take that idea & ask my daughter to bring me stuff she doesnt use anymore (I cant climb stairs due to my disabilities). A fabulous spooky box, great for a box of sweets...
