Everyone loves free digis, am I right? The theme for our challenge is Anything Goes. My favorite! It's so easy to enter - just make something using your Time For Tea Designs images and post them! Oh, and I have a discount code for you to use - T4TJENNIFER10 will save you 10% on your order from the Time For Tea shop! Yayyyy :)

Today's project features this amazing Box Clever shadow box die that dropped into the store this month. Love this die set - so many options to make amazing 3D projects. Choice is good! Along with this great die set, I've used the brand new Yappy Howlloween digital stamp set. These little ghosties are SO CUTE! From now until Thursday, if you make ANY purchase in the T4T shop (don't forget to save 10%!), you will get this digi set for FREE!

I've printed the haunted house image onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and created the background with Distress Oxide inks in Scattered Straw, Aged Mahogany, and Rusty Hinge. I colored the windows and door with Copic markers, and added some shading to my little kitty ghost with markers as well. I added some borders inside the box and the "keep out" sentiment is a sticker I put onto a punch of black cardstock.

Here's that cute digi set - you need it, trust me!

Today's challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! For today's November birthday fun, I've created a boy card - can never get enough of those!

To create this project, I've selected and printed some of the digital papers from Little Dudes - Little Dude Dragon Onesie with sentiments from Cool DudeFootball Dude, and this "Happy Birthday" onto Neenah Solar White cardstock. I also printed my main image,  Footballer digi from the Work and Play 6 collection in black and white. I colored him with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service.

I chose to create this soccer-themed card because my younger son's birthday is coming up and he's a soccer player - perfect! I added the birthday candles using a hot glue gun to make sure they would stay put.

Good morning everyone. It's Saturday - time for a new Gem of a Challenge from Polkadoodles shop! You can find our challenge blog here: A Gem of a Challenge

The image I've used today is called Penguin Candy Canes. They are so cute! I think they also make adorable little ducklings, as you can see here with my coloring choices :) I printed these sweeties onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. After they were colored I cut them out using the Fanciful Circles die set - you know how much I love these! I used the next size up on the background circle layer.

Our challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! I've paired my lil duckies up with papers from the Winnie White Christmas big bundle. My sentiment is from the Winter Flurries clear stamp set. I created the clouds and trees in the background with stencils and Distress Oxide Inks. The small sapling pines and hills are from Elizabeth Craft.

Book Review - Maybe This Christmas

My review of Maybe This Christmas by Susannah Nix. Release Date: October 22, 2019.

Maybe this Christmas...they’ll finally get it right!

This is an absolute gem of a story – a sweet second-chance, friends-to-lovers romance spanning a decade!

Alexandra and Lucas were friends FOREVER. Best friends! At the beginning of the story, we meet them over the Christmas holiday of their senior year of high school. Over the course of this heart-warming tale, their relationship evolves into high school sweethearts, to estranged friends, and ultimately to the HEA you just KNEW they could get to if they could just get onto the same page!

The format of this novella is just perfect, each chapter shows us the events of a Christmas one year after the last, and focuses on the viewpoint of either Alex or Lucas. I found this just brilliant, as you can see over time the way they evolve and grow as individuals as they slowly find their way back to each other (although it didn’t feel slow at ALL as you’re reading it; I read it all in one sitting as these two just grabbed me and dragged me into their story from the first word).

This book is just what you need to jump start your holiday spirit and ALL the good feels! A stand-alone novella that will leave you wanting for nothing and engaged until the final words, we get the perfect natural ending to this couple’s journey with no cliffhangers. Susannah Nix has quickly become one of my FAVORITE authors, and this book definitely lived up to my expectations. https://www.susannahnix.com/

Release date: October 22, 2019.

**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.**

TITLE: Maybe This Christmas
AUTHOR: Susannah Nix
RELEASE DATE: October 22, 2019
PRICE: $0.99
Two best friends. Ten Christmases. One happy ending.
When best friends Alexandra and Lucas share a first kiss on Christmas night their senior year of high school, it feels like the best years of their lives are ahead of them.
Then Alex goes off to college, and Lucas stays behind to work at his dad’s construction business in the small beach town where they grew up. Life, as they say, happens. And somewhere along the way these two high school sweethearts find they don’t have as much in common as they once did.
Lucas’s life is on Beaufort Island, and Alex is all about getting away and moving on. So he makes one of the hardest decisions of his life and lets her go.
But every year when Alex comes home for the holidays, fate conspires to reunite the two former lovebirds on Christmas Day. Year after year, through good times and bad, Lucas and Alex meet up, catch up, and reconnect on the anniversary of their first kiss.
Is it too much to hope that one year they’ll find their way back to each other permanently?
Maybe even this Christmas.

Book Review - My Pen Is Huge by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

My Pen Is Huge

The OHellNo Series Book #5

Love LOVED it– the series just keeps getting better!

Laugh out loud funny at every turn, up and coming investigative reporter Giselle has landed an amazing internship with her idol, Leland Merrick. She shows up on her first day, and to say that Leland is nothing like she expected is the understatement of the century! Leland is a mysterious, arrogant, and gorgeous man with a lot of secrets and a code all his own. Giselle is strong-willed, independent, and fearless. She’s determined to forge her path with or without help from her infuriating boss-turned-nemesis.

This book presents viewpoints from both characters, and they are true to themselves in conversation with each other, ancillary characters, and themselves. I love it! Giselle’s thoughts are hilarious, and she comes across as smart, feisty, and determined...but still young/inexperienced (life-wise) to be believable. Leland has a British stiff-lip even in his own mind – PERFECT!

They fight their attraction and flaunt their differences at every turn, but they break down each other’s walls (in the most hilariously spectacular ways) to get to their HEA.

This is a stand-alone book with NO cliffhanger. There are passing references to characters from other books in the series but you don’t need to have read them to read this book (but really, you should because they are all excellent and very, very funny).

From New York Times Bestseller Mimi Jean Pamfiloff, Comes a Saucy Minx of a Book, MY PEN IS HUGE. (OHellNo #5 - Standalone.)

Dear Mr. Merrick,
I quit.
And since you’re obsessed with your stupid pen collection, I thought it appropriate to take the big one you love so much and write my resignation letter. Kiss your pen goodbye, big man!
Because when I agreed to work for you—a hotshot journalist I’ve admired for years—no one told me that you had a secret life and that you’d bug my apartment, have someone killed, and make the moves on me just to test whether I’m serious about this job.
I mean, come on! What kind of boss does that? Yes, you’re ten degrees hotter than the sun, and you melt panties everywhere you go, but this “little intern” is done with your games.
From this day forward, consider me your mortal enemy, your biggest threat. Maybe your pen is huge, but my determination is bigger. See you on the battlefield, Mr. Big Pen.
Your ex-admirer,
Gisselle Walters

Today's project features more of the new release stamps, dies and stencils that dropped into the store this month. So much FUN! Today I've used stamps from the Thanks a Bunch collection, how gorgeous is this cascade of flowers??? The dies are called inside scalloped stitched frames, and most of the sentiment is from the clear stamp set as well (the thanks die is another company). You can find them in the T4T shop (don't forget to save 10%!).

I've stamped the floral image onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and heat embossed them in white using Nuvo Detail white embossing powder. Then I watercolored these beauties using colored them with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Pens (same concept as these Nuvo brand pens - which I love - but I have a mishmash of colors in various brands and most of these were Spectrum), along with some watercolor pencils and a water brush.

Polkadoodles' Digi Choosday - Week #42: Anything Goes!

Good morning everyone! It's Choosday already! That means a new Digi Choosday challenge, and a new DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles shop! Head over to the blog to grab it before your shopping spree!

Today's challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! For today's Halloween fun I've created a witchy-shoe shaped card with a magic reveal spinner element.

To create this project, I've selected and printed some of the digital papers the Winnie Wednesday bundle and the Halloween Trick or Treat Papers 3 set onto Neenah Solar White cardstock. I also printed my sentiment from  from Winnie Wednesday and the Winnie Trick or Treat Halloween image in black and white. I colored my little witch with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service.

My adorable witch is Winnie Trick or Treat Halloween, and I've paired her with papers from the Winnie Wednesday bundle and the Halloween Trick or Treat Papers 3 set. The sentiment is also from Winnie Wednesday. My magically revealed ghost is a clear stamp from the Fab-boo-lous set - so cute!

I followed a tutorial for creating this Magic Reveal Spinner card from Splitcoast Stampers. My magically revealed ghost is a clear stamp from the Fab-boo-lous set - so cute! I fussy cut Winnie Trick or Treat Halloween, the sentiment, and the card and base layer. Lots of extra little elements to make this creation super spooky! The ribbon flag on the reveal element is what you use to turn the circle to change from the sentiment to ghostly peeker.

Don't forget to head over to the blog to grab today's discount code! Then shop your heart out. Choosday is the best day!

Today's project features more of the new release stamps, dies and stencils that dropped yesterday. These are available exclusively from Create and Craft TV. I've used stamps from the Thanks a Bunch collection, how gorgeous is this cascade of flowers??? So much to love! The dies are called inside scalloped stitched frames, and the "smile" word die comes with them as well. You can find them on C&CTV here or in the T4T shop (save 10%!).

I've stamped the floral image onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Prismacolor Premier colored pencils.

This is an INTERACTIVE shaker card with sequins inside. I have a short video on my Instagram HERE if you 'd like to see it in action!

To create this easy shaker card, I cut a sheet of acetate to 4.25 x 6 (since that's the size of this die). After I had colored my flowers I cut along the edge and glued it to the top of the acetate sheet. Then I die cut the word and frame from black cardstock and added them to the top. I used foam tape and sequins from my stash to create the shaker window. The card base is white.
