So much fun! Colored with Copics and metallic chalk pens. Dies from Rubbernecker. Embossing folder is Tim Holtz. Sentiment is Scrappy Mom's. Papers from Fun Stamper's Journey, Bella Blvd, and Stampin' Up. Buttons from everywhere ;)

Imagine That Digistamp - Thursday Inspiration

Good morning my dear stamping friends! I forgot to post this card last week when it was live on the Imagine That Digistamp inspiration blog, so I thought I'd go ahead and post it today. It's still inspirational!!

Today I have a new Design Team project to share with you from Imagine That Digistamp. On Thursdays there's always a fun inspiration post on the Creative Playground blog, which is great to get your weekly fix of DT project postings!

Did you also know that ITDBK has a brought back the year-round customer link up? If you create a new project using ITDBK images, and link up, there will be a random draw for every 15 entries for a gift certificate to the shop! Check out all the details at the Creative Playground HERE.

Today I've used elements from 2 different paper sets to create this delicious coffee confection. The sentiment and image panel is heat embossed using vanilla embossing powder on a piece of brown digital paper that I printed from the Glitter Galore kit. The backing papers are all from the Sweet Warm Ups paper pack. The sentiment and coffee mug are clear stamps from Rubbernecker stamps' new Coffee set. As soon as I saw these papers I knew I had to pair these things up for a fun new project! The frame and oval dies are also from Rubbernecker - Rectangle Combo Die and Stitched Oval Die Set.

That's it for me today! Be sure to check out the Creative Playground for more ITDBK inspiration.

Digi Choosday Challenge - Week #17

Good morning everyone! I hope you're off to a great start. If it's not, it CAN be - it's Choosday over at Polkadoodles! That means a new Digi Choosday challenge, and a new DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles shop! Head over to the blog to grab it before your shopping spree!

Perhaps you've guessed where this is going - after several months as a GDT for this awesome company, I was asked to be a permanent DT member! Be still my heart! Of course I said YES, I love the amazing images, papers, and especially the awesome kits that Nikky has for us, so adorable and versatile and FUN to use for creating. I've joined the Digi Choosday Challenge Team, and this is my first "official" post.

So, today's challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! This week the DT has focused on Paper Piecing. Paper piecing is one of the first "techniques" I learned when I first started papercrafting over 18 years ago! Wow...now I feel old. But, it's a fun technique still, and I had a lot of fun with it today because it let me show off some extra digi papers along with my gorgeous image.

For today's project, I have used the fabulous Windy Day Winnie from the Special Moments CollectionI printed her out on Neenah white cardstock and hand-colored her hair and skin with a whole pile of Copic markers. I paper pieced her dress, shawl, handbag, and hat using papers from Work & Play 12 - Paper Heaven Set #6. The puffy cloud paper in the back is from Winnie Celebrations 3 - Paper 1 bundle.

This is such a sweet image! I loved coloring all of her flyaway hair! added a bit of color to the hat decorations and hat band with my Arteza fine tip markers.

Don't forget to head over to the blog to grab today's discount code! Then shop your heart out!

I also used a sketch today, yay. Viva la Verve (no surprise there!) for April and I'm entering it into the challenge.

I'm entering this into the following additional challenges -

Inspiration Destination #148 - AG (also using optional twist - sentiment is a real stamp)

Jo's Scrap Shack FFC #230 - AG (1/3)
Fussy & Fancy #210 - Add a Die Cut(1/3) [the green circle & main image are die cut)
Crafting with Friends #65 - AG (2/3)
Crafty Sentiments - AG (1/3)

Polkadoodles - Week 15 Challenge

Happy Friday!! It's time for a new challenge at the Polkadoodles challenge blog today! Polkadoodles is a UK company with cute, Cute, CUTE papercrafting goodies. I've been having such a fabulous time creating these last weeks! This is my last post as a Guest Designer for the Friday challenge. What a fantastic opportunity! I hope you've all enjoyed seeing my creations these last 2 months :)

The challenge information can be found on the blog here. The theme is always Anything Goes, and you have a chance to win via random selection and DT favorite!

Today's challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! This week I've made a bookmark using the black & white Winnie Wonderland digistamp. A serious deviation from my typical "cards, cards, and more cards!" theme, but I really, really love how she turned out! I printed her out on Neenah white cardstock and hand-colored her with a whole pile of Copic markers.

I then cut the entire thing to size, stamped this lovely sentiment from Verve Stamps, rounded the corners and cut the fancy deco corners at the top, and added some coordinating ribbon.

This is such a sweet image! I think she's just adorable with all the wonderful details on her hat and all around. The grounding is part of the image - just perfect!

I'm entering this into the following challenges -

Inspiration Destination #148 - AG (also using optional twist - sentiment is a real stamp)
Jo's Scrap Shack FFC #229 - AG (1/3)
Fussy & Fancy #209 - Add a Sentiment (1/3)
Crafting with Friends #65 - AG (1/3)
