Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop with RubberNecker Stamps!

Happy Friday! I have been working nonstop all week, long days traveling and getting caught up on work site visits - but I did just a smidge of time to create! Thank goodness!

Happy Wednesday! I have been working nonstop for 5 days straight, long days traveling and getting caught up on work after the world's worst norovirus tore through my entire family. I'm getting caught up on crafting (yay!) and blogging...it's a process but I'll get a few up at least!

Of COURSE, this is a spring-and-coffee themed card, to match the hop. I used my favorite embossed cloud background, green grass and perky spring colors for the project itself. Can you see the little bit of glitter on that delicious steam wafting from his mug!?

JessicaLynnOriginal.com Double Stamp Launch & Blog Hop!

Wow, finally! What a week....but now: HELLO WEEKEND, stamping friends!! We've been waiting for today for awhile...WELCOME to the JessicaLynnOriginal.com DOUBLE STAMP SET LAUNCH and inspirational blog hop. Today we're showcasing the amazing new sets "A Latte Love For Valentine's Day - Jam & Coffee" and the "All Season Calendar Planner - Winter, Spring, Fall and Summer" sets. I hope you've been inspired by the projects you've seen so far along the hop. You're halfway through, so let's finish strong! Here's one of my projects for the "A Latte Love" set:

Isn't this FUN?! I made the jam jar into a sequin shaker card today, using acetate sheets and foam tape to create the box behind the main image layer. I filled it with several different colors of sequins. The top of the jar is colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils/Gamsol. The very center where I stamped the sentiment is paper pieced. I'm entering this card into the Open Minded Crafting Fun #2 Challenge - Love/Valentine.

I also made a card with the coffee cup image from this set last week. It's already been blogged (you can scroll down for more info) but I thought I'd repost it here too for those who want to see all these great showcase cards in one place!

I adore this coffee cup stamp. Expect to see a lot of it from me in the future!!

We are also featuring the newest set in our Planner Stamp line. I am COMPLETELY a digital planner girl. I see the CUTEST planner pages and dividers decorated and colored...but frankly, I have an alarm for EVERYTHING (I kid you not. Everything.) and I NEED them. I have myself plus 2 kids going every which way but loose every day. Job and errands and appointments and classes and house stuff. Oh, and my husband and all of his adventures. So, I still LOVE these stamps, and since I don't play with my paper planner (even though I have a beautiful, fun nice one that I DO use to track all my DT deadlines, actually...), I am inspired to find other uses for these cuties other than JUST planner work (although they are, of course, perfect for that). So in this particular project, I made a cute Valentine's tag for a little giftie I made for the aforementioned husband. Love this sweet image! I colored the heart with a yellow glaze pen and used some of my Fun Stamper's Journey sprays on the chalkboard background and the banner to distress (read: manly) it up a bit. The image is stamped using Fun Stampers Journey Whipped Cream ink - the best white ink I've ever seen, in case you're wondering.

Of COURSE, this is a winter holiday-and-coffee themed card, to match the hop. I used my favorite embossed snowflake background, Christmassy colors for Mr. Brentwood and his bevvie, plus a fancy Christmas star on the end of his wintery greeting.

This is an easy 1-layer CAS card. I printed my Brentwood and colored him in. Then I decided I wanted him on an embossed holiday background, so I had to cut him out, hehe.I made the base and background and then added my little barista with foam tape. The sentiment was made and die cut as well, then I added this sweet star sequin with a shiny red holiday brad!

Christmas Chaos + Holiday Coffee Lover's Hop!

Happy Friday! Yep, again! This is my LAST post for CHRISTMAS CHAOS over at Bugaboo Stamps. YES!!! I got all 7 challenges done! Woot! I've had so much fun with these challenges and putting some of my awesome Bugaboos Stamps images to good use. For this project I'm also linking up for the HUGE and AWESOME Coffee Loving Cardmakers Winter/Holiday blog hop. If you didn't see it yet, you have to go check things out!

Here's my take on Day #6's challenge: Wrap. I chose to make a tag. This funny is featuring Bugaboo's Cocoa. So simple, but super cute!

The base of the tag was die cut from Paper Smooches flag dies. I embossed the Kraft cardstock with a quilted folder, then sprayed it just lightly with some coral colored mist to give it more depth. I printed and colored the Cocoa image (Copics), and die cut the LaLa Land banner. You can see I used the hearts as well as part of the banner. The various ribbons are stapled on. This was fun!!

Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

Happy Sunday everyone! I have a very FUN card to share today. I decided to play along with the HUGE Fall 2015 Coffee Lover's blog hop going on now. There are so many awesome sponsors, and page after page of fantastic projects being linked up! JessicaLynnOriginal.com is one of the sponsors, and in addition to the prizes, Jessica Lynn is also giving away a free digi stamp right now in honor of this great blog hop. I have used the FREE digi in my project today, it's called Brentwood Owl Needs More Coffee. TOO CUTE for words!!

Of COURSE, this is a fall-and-coffee themed card, to match the hop. I used fall colors for Mr. Brentwood, and I set the pattern of sequins to be "fall"ing into the cup with him. I chose the color palette from this gorgeous inspiration from Your Next Stamp (YNS #23) which has been on my list all month; so beautiful. The colors are also matching up with this week's ColourQ (#309) and a new challenge blog I discovered - Our Crafty Corner's very first challenge, a beautiful autumn board (yep, a theme here!).

This is an easy 1-layer CAS card. I printed my Brentwood and colored him in. Masked off the image and spritzed the card with gold and pewter Perfect Pearls sprays. I added the sequins and glitter dots, went back for some extra shading on the colored image, and viola! I'll let this sweetie speak for himself :) I'd use this card for ANY reason for a coffee lover friend of family member (and I have MANY).
