Polkadoodles Digi Choosday - Week 18: Anything Goes!

Good morning everyone! I hope your day is off to a great start. If it's not, it CAN be - it's Choosday over at Polkadoodles! That means a new Digi Choosday challenge, and a new DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles shop! Head over to the blog to grab it before your shopping spree!

Today's challenge is, as always, Anything Goes!

For today, I've created a FUN 3D triangle box - a small party favor box. You can find the template/instructions HERE (these are so quick and easy!).

To start with, I printed out this fun background paper from Little Dudes Rugby/Football onto cardstock and cut it to size from the template. After I scored it and did a test fold, I sized and printed my sweet Boo image Party Friends onto Neenah white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I colored the entire background with Copics as well. Stitched oval dies from Gina Marie Designs. The metal sentiment is from Making Memories and the ribbons and cords are all from my hoard of SU ribbons. I punched the holes with a square 1/4" hole punch I've had for FOREVER and used the ribbons to close it up. Decorations added with Scor-Tape and foam squares.

That's it for my project details! Don't forget to head over to the blog to grab today's discount code! Then shop your heart out. Choosday is the best day!

I'm entering this into the following challenges -

Artistic Inspirations - #214: AG (unlimited)

Through The Craft Room Door - AG (1/3)
Crafty Sentiments - Lace/Ribbon (1/1)
Show Us Your Pussies (Cats) - #41: AG

My project today is giving a SNEAK PEEK of TWO of the new stamp sets coming exclusively to Create & Craft TV on May 6th. You are not going to want to miss these adorable spring/summer themed stamp sets, stencils, and coordinating dies!

Lots of stamping, coloring and cutting going on here! I've stamped the Bees from the all-new stamp set onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. After they were cut out, I added Stardust Stickles to their wings and set aside to dry.

I stamped and colored the mouse in the grass and the flower from the Butterflies stamp set and die cut those as well. I used Lawn Fawn grass border die to cut my grass border out of Perfectly Plaid Sour Apple patterned paper. After stamping my sentiment and cutting background layers using Scalloped Stitched Rectangles and Scalloped Stitched Circles dies from Gina Marie Designs, I added some color! My clouds layer was created using the new Clouds Stencil from Time for Tea Designs and Distress Oxide ink, and the splatter on the sentiment layer is from sprays - Bubblegum Pink Dyelusions and Prima Sunshine. Purple Plaid background paper from Lawn Fawn collection as well. Lots and lots and LOTS of foam dots in play here as well for all the layers an dimension.

Polkadoodles' Digi Choosday - Week 16: Anything Goes!

For today, I've created a SERIOUS scene card...all the magic is going on INSIDE today. I'll admit, this project was waaaaaaaaaay outside of my comfort zone. HOWEVER, I'll also say...you guys, I love how this card turned out!! *in love*

Here's a peek of the project, all closed up, looking like it would when you took it out of the envelope. Sentiment is from Helga Hippo, and the purple flowers are from a Helga design sheet. Sun die is Waffle Flower, grass die is Rubbernecker. I've used a weathered wood technique on my Baja Breeze cardstock to simulate the look of wood fencing or siding.

Here you can see I've just opened up the door (die set) to take a peek into the garden. Someone's out there! Door dies are also available from LDRS in the USA.

Oh here we are. What a lovely place to visit! I could go for some flowers and butterflies myself right now, that's for sure! To create the inside of my card I've merged a background scene on this design sheet from Winnie Fruit Punch with the black and white Dandelion Days image. I've tucked her in behind the fence and the bee in order to create a little bit of a backyard jungle feel for her outdoor fun!

After I had my merged image ready, I printed it onto Neenah white cardstock and colored our little sweetie with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I colored the entire background with Copics as well. Dies from Gina Marie Designs (Wonky OvalFishtail Banner and Scalloped Stitched Rectangles.

That's it for my project details! Don't forget to head over to the blog to grab today's discount code! Then shop your heart out. Choosday is the best day!

Rubbernecker Stamps - April Inspiration!

Hello and happy Monday to all my lovely readers! Today I have some fun fun inspiration to share with you from Rubbernecker Stamps

Are you enjoying Spring so far? There's not too much nice weather to enjoy here in Wisconsin yet, but I am hopeful! We definitely had the "in like a lion" part of March, unfortunately the lion seems to have taken up residence...

But I'm getting in the MOOD for good weather and smooth sailing with this new release card featuring a whole pile of amazing supplies from Rubbernecker Stamps!

I added this photo (sorry about the shadows, grrrr...) to try to show some of the dimension I created while building this scene. Multiple layers of foam tape behind the waves, the bear, selected clours, and of course the floating treasure chest. It's Bear's lucky day I think!

Supplies Used:

Below are links to the supplies I’ve used for today’s project. Compensated affiliate links may used, which means if you make a purchase, I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. I truly appreciate your support!

-Sea clear stamp set

-Sea Die Cut set
-Deckle Hills Die set
-Waves Die set
-Nested Circle Small Stitch Die set
-Miscellaneous supplies: Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic markers for coloring, Copic multiliner pen 0.1, patterned paper from American Crafts, Neenah Solar White cardstock, blue and yellow cardstock from Stampin' Up, purple tape, MISTI (you need one of these!), Mono multi glue, foam tape, Gemini Jr. (I love this machine!), Swiss Dots embossing folder.
