Happy Monday out there!! How are we today?? I know I'm doing great and I have a fun project to share this morning! You may remember we just released two new sets last week over at the {Little Paper Shop}, and I just can't put this one down! This is {Lily and Lucy Messages}, and they are ADORABLE!!! Such a sweet new look for these girls, and fabulous mix-n-match sentiments as well. I love how Julia has left us so many options with these great focal images and great varitey of words; Valentine's, birthday, anniversary, or even just general cards with "Best Wishes" or "Love". Julia, you rock!
Here is my card for today, featuring Lucy:
I used a sketch to make this card, The Pink Elephant had a skeetch challenge last week and it's just prefect, a classic look {you know I love that} so I had to participate! This is TPE50 and here it is for reference:
For my project today, I started off by stamping Lucy in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on PTI white. I cut her out with Petite Oval Nestabilities, layered the scallops behind, added the cross piece (EK Success border punch), ribbon, and sentiment stamped onto a die cut tag and viola! My color scheme is just a tiny bit off of Kraft, it's more of a Mustard color but I absolutely HAD to use this cute cute cute new paper, so it's all good!
Be sure to visit the LPS store blog and the other DT members to see all the inspiration with these colors! AND, if you play along with our challenge this week you'll be entered to win LPS stamps!! Check out the details on the LPS store blog this morning - you have until Sunday night to enter by linking up on this week's post on the LPS store blog and the winner will be announced there next Monday morning. Can't beat free stamps AND an excuse to use them and do more stampin'! Last thing before I go, HUGE news of a SALE from the {Little Paper Shop} going on NOW until February 1st, Julia has a coupon code available for all orders, just enter "WINTER" for 15% off everything!
