So I've alluded to things being busy around here in several prior posts, we are trying to sell our house to get something a bit bigger and a bit newer - and I can't even BELIEVE how much cleaning and picking up has to be done around here just so people can see the place. I guess that's what happens with 2 kids and a cat {plus us}. DH likes to look around after a big cleaning and declare that "this is how the house should always look!".
{gag, gasp, ack, snort} Excuse me? Um, we *LIVE* here - all day, every day - with two kids! Stuffing all the toys into the furnace room or putting them into the vehicles because they're so bulky, clearing everything off every horizontal surface and hiding it anywhere we can {I still can't find my slippers or the handiwipes that were in the kitchen} is simply not an acceptable daily practice. I think somewhere in his mind, he does understand this, because when asked "and what color is the sky in your world" he will invariably answer "red". But he just loves to bust my balls {figuratively speaking of course}.
Anyway, this is the reason I've been such a bad blogger and haven't gotten up some of the posts I've been promising. I haven't even stamped in 10 days. It's awful. But there is now a list and I am working at it in my spare time and I also hope to stamp tonight. All those things I've been saying are coming down the pike are still coming and hopefully soon. Just keep checking back and bear with me - I hope to be back on track by the end of this weekend.

13 people made my day!:
You definitely need to sneak away for a day of stamping! Hope you get to soon (let your hubby baby sit too!!!)!
Hope you find a new house soon and maybe there will be a big closet that you can fill!
Well, this is just unacceptable behavior! LOLOL, men, they think they know how to run a household ... until they actually try.
No worries about not posting frequently; we all love you lots and would come back and look at the same post for weeks!
Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog. You're the bestest!!
~Hugs, Deb
I hear ya, sistah! Our house is also up for sale, but, there is only the two of us here so it's not quite as bad. I, too, haven't been such a terrific blogger lately. Too many things on my mind, I guess. Good Luck on the house sale, hope it happens soon.
Good luck with the house, don't forget that all important space for crafting LOL.
At least you don't have to pack away your crafting stash! Good luck with your house sale.
Good luck with it all! xxx
Been there done that- with showing the house. I totally empathize and feel your pain.
Tip- Think about putting some bottled water or soda on the kitchen counter before a showing so the potential buyers can linger in your kitchen and think about buying your house!
selling your house..what an undertaking! I HATE moving...its great for de-cluttering but otherwise not fun!

They all look like great show houses until you move in and actually live in them. I might have licked the wall in this one 4 weeks ago, but since we moved in...not a chance.
we just couldn`t sell our house , no where to hide all the bits around the house!!the cupboards are full to breaking point we would need about ten skips and ten fires to get rid of the rubbish we have collected over the last 14 odd years we have lived in this house!! LOL
good luck with the sale and hope your new home has much more space!!

lol, your DH sounds like mine! But I don't have any kids, so what's my deal?! Anyhow, I feel for ya trying to sell right now, what an exhausting experience, huh! In the end, though, I'm certain it'll be all worth it and you'll end up in a wonderful home and lots of joy! No worries about posting, but at least try to get some time for yourself to create! You deserve it! hugs~
wow you need a break , hope to see you stamp soon, jo x
