LPS Monday - Let's Get Funky!

Happy Monday!  You know what that means!  It’s time for a new challenge from the Little Paper Shop. I will get to it in a second, but I have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT first!!  EVERYTHING in the LPS shopis 40% off. Our challenge for you today at the Little Paper Shop is to use a “Funky Edge” on your card. You can use a border punch or whatever you would like to make your “funky” edge. I used I Heart for my card and added some borders on my accent layers.

Monday Whatnots from Paper Pretties!

Hello and happy Monday to all my stampin' friends!  I hope you had an amazing holiday and are doing ok getting back into that regular routine.  That is always tough for me -- more vacation please!  heehee

Well, Monday is busy around here, so first, it's time for Paper Pretties Monday Whatnots...What's Not to Love! ARTish has designed some super cutie patootie images that we are showing off today. You can find them, along with tons of additional digi images, in the Digital Images section in the store. EVERY MONDAY, we will be releasing 2 or more new digi images.

My card today uses this ADORABLE Leonardo Lion image.  I am so in love, he's just too perfect!  

He does come with a crown, but I omitted it for this card.

Prettie Wednesday - Clean and Simple

Hello Prettie Readers!!  I hope you're having a great week.  I know I am finally doing better!  You may have noticed, but I haven't posted and haven't really even stamped in almost TWO WEEKS, which is horrible!  I had some personal AND work stuff going on that just drained the life out of me - if you can believe it, I didn't even WANT to stamp during the small amounts of time I could have.  YUCK!!  I don't ever want to do that again!


But I did stamp for today! WOOOOOOOOOOT!  Here is my offering:

I have to disclaim - this was LITERALLY a ten minute card.  I didn't get a card made over the weekend and Tuesday and Tuesday night is always so busy for me, I put this together quickly.  Of course that's the beauty of a fun and versatile sentiment set - you CAN do that!  Need a fast thank you card?  You're all set!  This set is going to see a lot of ink around my stamp table.

Easy breezy lemon squeezy!  I added a few rhinestones to the sentiment after I took the picture but didn't get a chance to retake it yet - sorry!

A Prettie Preview and CPS!

Details on my card - I colored this sweetie pie new Sophia image (she will be available on FRIDAY, along with a bunch of her friends, check the Paper Pretties blog this week for previews!) with Copic Markers.  Paper is new Basic Grey, yummo!  I added Martha Stewart tinsel glitter to the snowflakes (just a touch) and the snow beneath her feet.  "Out of the box" on the image, her scarf is a-blowin' in the wind!

PWC126 - A Frances Sketch!

Happy Wednesday! Are you ready for the Prettie Wednesday Challenge?! I bet you are!  If you play along with us you could WIN!   Check out the Paper Pretties Blog for all the details!

For this week's challenge (keyword: PWC126) it's another amazing sketch from our own Prettie Girl, Frances!  You know I love a good sketch.  So of course to play along, just make a card using our awesome sketch, then link up on the Paper Pretties Blog to enter.  Here is my contribution using one of my Top Three favorite Cooper sets, Cowboy Cooper.  Seriously?!?  He could not be cuter.  I adore him.  I do I do!  He is so proud and just reminds me of my little cowboys.  What's not to love?

I stamped my lil' cowpoke with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on PTI white and colored him with Copic markers.  Patterned paper is from the LSS (in my stash) and the rhinestone boot was in there too.  How perfect for me to stumble across that!!  LOL!  Nesties on the circles, and of course with Paper Pretties' fabulous high-quality clear stamps, it's easy to move, reposition, even *gasp* cut apart images to make things fit how you want.  My trick?  One quick, straight scissor snip between parts of sentiments and you can easily realign them when you want to stamp them in the original configuration, just butt the pieces back together and viola!  Try it - you'll LOVE it (and you'll never go back).
