I have THREE projects to share with you today! YES THREE!!! I had so much fun playing with these stamps ;) Here we go!

I had this idea as soon as I saw this image! I knew I wanted a card with just this image as the focal point and a TON of dimension (I do mean a ton!). Lots of die cuts, some black hemp twine, flowers, black stickles, french script embossing folder, square Nestabilities, and viola! Here are some other views:

To me, this is an elegant wedding card. I was inspired by this AWESOME picture over on If You Give a Crafter a Cookie. SO adorable, little black and white spotty hedgehog love!

Other challenges for THIS card:

Craft for the Craic - The Big Occasion (wedding)

My next card pairs the new set with a current Brentwood Owl set called "Happy Valentine's Day: I Love You".  I created this custom patterned background from this wonderful sentiment and matched it up with sweet little Brentwood!

This layout is a sketch from Bugaboo - Stella Says Sketch #310. Also, a color challenge from the YNS blog. Here are the pictures:

Other Challenges for THIS card:
Crafty Ribbons - #122: Anything Goes

My last card uses that awesome LOVE block image again. It just SCREAMS wedding cards to me. You can be as elegant or as playful as you like with these stamps. It's fantastic!

This project follows the current Mojo Monday sketch (#403). I used a rainbow of colors on this card from the Fun Stampers Journey Challenge (#5: Colors) to show some versatility and finally play with this color palette. If you check the photo inspiration from Bugaboo this week you'll SEE this card in the picture too! I loved it, what a nice piece they chose for us to play with!

And a close-up to show a little of the color and dimension. I used Diamond stickles on the dots of the letters. A line of blue rhinestones per the sketch finish this off with tons of glitz and glam. Say "I love you" in STYLE!

Here are the inspiration pieces:

Wags 'n Whiskers #157: More Than One Fold

TGIF! Boy am I glad it's Friday (and that I survived the week). I managed to sneak a bit of stamping time to bring you a new card for today!

This next challenge up at Wags 'n Whiskers is: #157 - More Than One Fold. This was a bit tougher for me, but in the end I ended up making it into a tri-fold, and I'm happy with how it turned out. Here is my creation, featuring the image Steal A Kiss.

 Partially open view:
Further open, you can see the second fold here:
I used the sketch from the Bugaboo Challenge Blog (Stells Says Sketch #310) and this week's Color Throwdown (#348). What a great combo this is! So perfect for summer. I turned the sketch into a tri-fold card in order to work with our W'n'W challenge this week.

Challenges:
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have an AWESOME weekend! Tomorrow is the JessicaLynnOriginal second stamp set release of summer. It is fantastic!! Until then...happy stamping. :)

Comments

Hello to all my lovelies! Thank you so much for your comments and emails regarding the blog. I changed ONE setting the other day (100% through blogger) and for some reason it's not working right. I put it back to the original settings and I really hope that makes it work! Ugh, technology, don't do this to me....!

If you are trying to leave a comment and it won't work, please let me know and I'll keep trying to fix it. Sheesh, you try to make something a little more streamlined and look what happens... ;) Happy Sunday everyone!

Kitty Bee Designs: June Spotlight

Hello everyone, and WELCOME to the weekend! I think it's almost impossible not to be happy on a sunny summer Saturday! I'm here this morning with my VERY FIRST monthly spotlight as a new member of the fantastic Kitty Bee Designs DT. I'm so excited!

I can't even TELL you how much I adore this sweet bunny. I really can't! The second I saw him, I had so many ideas. This was the first one, with him reaching for the stars and having some fun bling and sparkle taking him up, up & away! The sentiment is from Verve.

I used Mojo Monday #402 for this little guy, and some Red, White & Blue inspiration from the DRS Designs challenge. Here are the swatches:

I colored him up with Copics (C00, C1, R24, B36), and cut all my circles with Nestabilities. The paper is from an old Target Dollar Spot grab, along with Stampin' Up! cardstocks. Cuttlebug embossing forlder for the background, some nesting star punches, Flag dies from Verve, a few sequins, a LOT of foam tape, and viola! The sweetest lil red, white & blue guy around!

Challenges for today:
Send A Smile 4 Kids - Animal Cards 4 Kids (1 of 2)
Cut It Up - #73 Stars AND Stripes (and a Die Cut)
DRS Designs - #179: Inspired By Color
Art Impressions Challenge - #162: Red, White and Blue (1 of 2)
Paper Shelter - #208: Make It Digital (2 of 3)
Crafty Gal's Corner - #24: Red, White and Blue
Sister Act - #111: Anything Goes
Suzy Bee - #85: Anything Goes with a Twist of Blue
Penny's Papercrafty - #232: Anything Goes (3 of 3)
Great Impressions - June: Anything Goes (2 of 3)

Hoping that all you stamping beauties have a fantastic weekend. Stamp happy!

Simply Papercraft #7 with Lacy Sunshine!

I'm so happy it's finally Friday! What a busy week with work, but I'm done with work-related travel for 2 months now; I'm thrilled about that! Finally online and blogging today to share a new card for Simply Papercraft. Our bi-weekly challenges are ALWAYS "Anything Goes". I love this! Makes it easy and fun to combine challenges and really show off your best work. This week's challenge is sponsored by Lacy Sunshine (one of my AB-SO-LUTE favorite digi places). As always, fantastic prizes are up for grabs! Free digis? Yes, please!

I used this awesome Fantail Enchantress image from Lacy Sunshine. She's sooo pretty, I love her hair! Some Copics, brads & rhinestones, a FABULOUS charm from a set I just picked up the other day (perfect timing), different color cardstocks (including metallic gold, mmm!), Cuttlebug embossing folders, brads, rhinestones, and ribbon and viola! A beautiful Lacy is ready for the weekend! ;)

As usual, I chose a fun sketch and color challenge to play along in. The sketch is Viva la Verve June week 3, and the color pallette from this week's ColourQ (#295) shown below - so pretty.

Challenges for today:
Inspiration Destination - #38: Anything Goes
Penny's Papercrafty - #232: Anything Goes (entry 2 of 3)
Lacy Sunshine Color Your World - ending June 28th
Papertake Weekly - Oh So Pretty (gems and other bling is pretty!)

Creative Knockouts #94: Make It Funny

Good morning stampers! I hope everyone's Thursday is off to a fantastic start. This morning I want to share a super fun card for this week's Creative Knockouts (#94) where the challenge is....Sentimentally Yours!  This week's sponsor is Doodle Pantry, and oh yes, there is a prize to be won!

I printed this awesome Chili Pepper Set PRE-COLORED. It comes with color and black & white of all of the images when you buy a set. WOW!!! I love that - if you need something quicker you are all set to go! Papers are from an old Dollar Spot grab from Target, button is Nikki Sivils, Circles done with Nestabilities, flag dies from Verve, lots of foam tape and viola!

Lots of dimension to this piece, I used foam tape to pop up the various layers. This card follows the June Viva la Verve sketch for week 1.

Ok, I always say this, but I really like this sketch!! I flipped it, as you can see, but there are some really fun design elements to work with between the flags and the BIG circle piece!

That's it for me today! Don't forget to swing over to the Creative Knockouts blog to link up your "Funny" projects for your chance to win with Doodle Pantry! My DT sisters have created some beautiful inspiration, so leave them some love too!
