Good morning, my lovelies!!! The end of February snuck up on me BIGTIME, so I'm late late posting inspiration for Simply Papercraft! Better late than never, and you have until the last Friday in March to play along - so plenty of time! Our monthly challenges are ALWAYS "Anything Goes". I love this! Makes it easy and fun to combine challenges and really show off your best work.

Simply Papercraft #54 - Anything Goes!

Happy Friday, my lovelies!!! I'm so happy the weekend is here! Today I'm sharing my latest card for Simply Papercraft. Our monthly challenges are ALWAYS "Anything Goes". I love this! For my card today I used this fun Alice in Wonderland set. I realized when I was done that I should have made this a belated birthday card instead of a thank you card! Ugh, I hate when I do that! I still really love how it turned out though, and I will be using this color scheme again also.

I'm entering this into Bugaboo's January BINGO challenge! My bingo (there are actually 2!) is across the bottom - blue (it's kinda blue-green, but true blue didn't fit with the color scheme when I started so I tweaked the color), embossing (the tank paper has heat embossed on the flower petals), and dots. If you prefer - die cut, free choice, and dots - diagonnally ;)

For my card today I used Mad Scientist Clip Art Set. I LOVE making science cards into wedding/love/anniversary cards. It makes my little nerd heart soar!

Quick recipe - colored with Copics, of course. Spray is Gold Glimmer from Fun Stampers Journey. Tonic Nuvo dots in black for a little extra oompf in the vapor phase. The sentiment is printed using various fonts I've collected over the years.

For my card today I used Unicorn Digi Stamp Set. I made her (him?) RAINBOW because....UNICORN!! :D

Quick recipe - colored with Copics, of course. Dies from Gina Marie and Fun Stampers Journey. Pearls are Kaiser. Papers are all different. Crystal Effects on the horn for that embossed look. Foam tape on the main panel for dimension.

I'm entering this into the Bugaboo Crafty Challenge #8 (ends 9/14/17), and Bugaboo Saturday Challenge - Bingo (ends 8/26/17). Bingo on the left side of board (below), 3 layers, dots and stripes, embossed.

For my card today I used #320: Nixie Spirit of the Sea. I went with pale skin and eyes, light silvery hair (she lives underwater after all!) and tried to direct all the emphasis to that TAIL! She's just gorgeous, I had a lot of fun with this card.

Quick recipe - colored with Copics, of course. Embossing folder from Die'Sire - Clouds. Sequins are from Doodlebug. Inside of Oval Scallop Frame Die, Stitched Pennant Die, Coral Die and Wonky Rectangle Die from Gina Marie. Lots of Tonic Nuvo drops for bubbles and in her hair.

Pixie Dreams

Good morning! I'm doing a little blogging catch up, and today I'm sharing a sweet, fun card I made featuring Nixie the Pixie from Oddball Art Stamps.

I added glitter to the Pixie Dust areas as well as around the sentiment. Hand-doodled the border after coloring the entire image with Copics. I also added glitter to her wings (a different color). I use only Art Institute ultra-fine loose glitters, they make the most amazing sparkle and shine!! My enamel dots and the metal fan are from Fun Stampers Journey. I just love all of their embellies!

For my card today I used the "Benson Bear - With Love" image. He's such a sweetie! I love that face. After coloring it up and seeing these sweet girlie colors, I went with a baby card for this project.

Quick recipe - colored with Copics, of course. Die and Frame Die from MFT. Banner die from LaLaLand Crafts. Label die is Spellbinders....OLD set. FunStampersJourney linen thread tinted with the pink Copic marker. KaiserCraft rhinestones. Lots of foam tape and Journey Liner tape (extra sticky!). Paper is DCWV. SU cardstock. I use Neenah 110# Cover Solar White cardstock for all my images.

I played with Bugaboo's February Bingo for this card, right down the left side with Hearts, Pink and Designer Papers.

For my card today I used the "Snowflake Butterfly" image. It is just so sweet and fun! That little mouse and the lovely sentiment. This is a Christmas card, there is a Christmas greeting verse inside. I didn't take a picture because I didn't decorate it other than that (no papers or anything), just added the verse for use when I can mail out cards next week! Unless I REALLY go to town on decorating the inside (rarely), I only show a picture of the front. Hehe, it's not lazy, it's efficient! ;)
