Creative Knockouts #170: Festive Fun & Christmas Chaos

Good morning stampers! Today I'm sharing my project for the challenge over at Creative Knockouts where the theme is....Festive Fun!

Here is my project, featuring the beautiful Winter Winds Ethereal Enchantress. She is colored up with PRISMACOLOR pencils. I was *very* concerned about trying these, I need a lot more practice with pencils, but I was in the mood for a risk! ;)

Can we please agree that NOTHING is more Festive than a WHOLE LOTTA BLING?? Well it's my blog, so I'm declaring it one way or the other. We've got glitter on all the "fur" parts of her coat, as well as the drippings of the icicles. Also a shimmers spritz spray on the outer border of the card.

Penny's #288: Anything Goes

Good morning stampers! I hope everyone's week is going well! So crazy around here this summer - it is FLYING by. I can't believe it'll be August in a few days. Still need to get out for school shopping....plus all the activities the kids wanted to do this summer! Yikes!

At least  So let's get on with the new challenge this week over at Penny's Challenge!  This week's sponsors are Lacy Sunshine and Lemon Shortbread. As always, they are offering a wonderful prize to lucky stampers!

Here is my project, featuring "Susie Boo Beach Girl" from Lacy Sunshine! Now, normally I FAIL at coloring scenes like this. My skills don't quite extend to creating the amazing background work in addition to the sweet faces. But I just could NOT resist this little beachcomber, so I had to try. Except for that blank sky in the back, I think she turned out pretty well. I guess it's an overcast day at the beach...good for redheaded skin, right?? ;) Well, ya can't really go wrong with a Lacy image any way you do it!

Do you see how she's in kind of a Polaroid frame? That's part of an awesome Fun Stampers Journey die set that I've been reaching for a lot lately. So versatile and fun! My little one is colored up with Copics, and all the adorable polka dots, along with her bracelet, were done with Nuvo Crystal Drops. The washi tape and sentiment stamp are also from FSJ, Kaisercraft rhinestones, one little layer of foam tape to pop up our "picture". Darice cloud folder. Hand doodled the border on the frame. Cardstock is Neenah and FSJ.

Penny's Challenge #265: Anything Goes

Good morning stampers! I hope everyone's Wednesday is off to a fantastic start! Today I finally get to share the happy news that I have joined the amazing designers over at Penny's Challenge as a part of their Design Team. I'm so excited to be starting this adventure! Penny's is a challenge I have played in quite often, and I'm always very impressed by the Design Team's work and the fun challenges they provide. Now I'll be "playing" every week!!

So for my post today, I want to share my card for this week's challenge; where the challenge theme is....Anything Goes! Well that's an easy one. This week's sponsors are Lacy Sunshine and Di's Digis, and they are offering a wonderful prize to a lucky player!

Here is my project, featuring "Rory - Make a Wish Dreams Do Come True" from the coloring set #15 collection. Isn't she GORGEOUS? Lacy Sunshine is among my favorites for digi images (yes, I have a lot of favorites, I'm ok with it!). They are just so lovely and fun to color.

I added a generous amount of glitter to the stars she's got here (after coloring them a very light purple). I took a close up photo to try to show that sparkle:

Aud Sentiments #145: Anything Goes!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I can't believe it's that time of year already. It will be Christmas before we know it. Well, it's still a Thursday, so it's  time for a new mid-inspiration post from Aud Sentiments! The challenge this time around is "Anything Goes". Yay, anything your heart desires!

Aud Sentiments is a bi-weekly challenge with a theme. The one special thing to note is you MUST use a sentiment on your card to enter our challenge. Here is my project, featuring Sugi Winter Princess. Isn't she both adorable and beautiful!!? I love her dress...I tried to color it as if it was "dipped", with variations of the same color, lightest to darkest. {I have seen this dipped look on everything from clothing to long hair, and it seemed perfect for this dress}.

I followed a sketch for my card today, from Viva la Verve; November #3. Here it is, and it's a good one!
