Polkadoodles - Week 13 Challenge

Happy Friday!! It's time for a new challenge at the Polkadoodles challenge blog today! Polkadoodles is a UK company with cute, Cute, CUTE papercrafting goodies. I've been having such a fabulous time creating these last weeks!

The challenge information can be found on the blog here. The theme is always Anything Goes, and you have a chance to win via random selection and DT favorite!

For my card today, I have used the pre-colored Nature Lover - January (digi). One of the great things about this company is the versatility they allow you as a crafter! If you aren't that into coloring, digitally colored versions of nearly all images are available, and they are a GORGEOUS alternative. Even if you LOVE to color, sometimes you don't have that much time, so a pre-colored image can be the difference between creating a card and leaving it half-done. Today, I've made this birthday card, with lots and LOTS of flowers!

This is such a sweet image! I really the January line. As I mentioned earlier, she also comes as a standard black & white line art image for you to color yourself. So many versatile options from Polkadoodles! This image can be used for ANY occasion.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to link up your lovelies over at the Polkadoodles blog for your chance to win!

Imagine That Digistamp - Thursday Inspiration

Good morning my dear stamping friends! How about some COLD March Thursday inspiration?? I thought we were supposed to be getting warmer by now...

Today I have a new Design Team project to share with you from Imagine That! Digis by Kris. On Thursdays there's always a fun inspiration post on the Creative Playground blog, which is great to get your weekly fix of DT project postings! Today I'm sharing a slice of festive fun!

Did you also know that ITDBK has a brought back the year-round customer link up? If you create a new project using ITDBK images, and link up, there will be a random draw for every 15 entries for a gift certificate to the shop! Check out all the details at the Creative Playground HERE.

Today I've used elements from 3 different sets to create this MEGA prehistoric scene! It was so much fun to get outside of the "box" with this card. I merged the Sabertooth kitten, trees, and volcano, and hand-colored them with Copics. The pterodactyl is the precolored version, and I fussy cut him out and made him 3D up in the sky. The small secondary sentiment is from Rubbernecker stamps' new Dinosaur set, I thought it went well with this scene. Frame die from Gina Marie, clouds done by hand with template.

That's it for me today! Be sure to check out the Creative Playground for more ITDBK inspiration.

My card today features this beautiful Queen Anne's Lace image set from

This image set also comes with a sentiment set, but silly me, I didn't color print it WITH the sentiment on (I sent my color printing out). Derp! So I had to use a clear stamp to add it on after the fact. The sentiments are a great bonus with this lovely set though, check them out HERE.

Dies from Gina Marie Designs, cardstock from Neenah and Stampin' Up, embossing folder from Provocraft.

Happy Thursday stamping friends! Today I'm sharing my project for the challenge over at Aud Sentiments where the theme is....Anything Goes!

This week's sponsor is the Aud Sentiments blog, and they are offering a wonderful gift certificate prize to a lucky player!

Here's my card, featuring LOTS of amazing goodies from Rubbernecker Stamps. I am in LOVE with this Margarita Glass rubber stamp and matching die cut. It's such a fun, Fun, FUN image that lends itself to so many different types of cards. Earlier this week I made a shaker card with it! Today's project is straight up stamped and cut. Colored with Copics, of course. "Salt" on the rim, because...well...Margarita! ;)

Here's an extra peek at some of the depth and dimension I tried to include here today. Don't you love all the yummy layers?? I started with the border stamp, then added the fun dots dry embossing using a folder. That panel is on the first layer of foam tape, white-on-white card base. I built up the rest of the project from there. A complete supply listing can be found at the end of this post. If you have any questions, leave me a comment or send an email! I'm happy to help!

I stamped the little flowers onto patterned paper and die cut them as well. They've been added to the sentiment tag panel using foam tape. Rhinestones from my stash.

I also used a sketch on this happy card today, Stella Says Sketch #604 on the Catch the Bug blog. What a fun sketch, thanks for the inspiration! Here it is if you'd like to check me :)
