Simply Papercraft #27: Always Anything Goes!

Happy FRIDAY (again), my lovelies!!! I'm so happy the weekend is here! Today I'm sharing my latest card for Simply Papercraft. Our bi-weekly challenges are ALWAYS "Anything Goes". I love this! Makes it easy and fun to combine challenges and really show off your best work. This week's challenge is sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs! As always, fantastic and generous prizes are up for grabs!

For my card today I used the Dark Fairy Sassy image. I went with soft pastel colors since we are having a tiny bit of spring here in Wisconsin, and I didn't want to jinx it! ;)

Quick recipe - colored with Copics, of course. Green thread from Fun Stampers Journey (love it!). Paper from American Crafts. D'Vine Swirls Embossing Folder. Lots of foam tape. I use Neenah 110# Cover Solar White cardstock for all my images.

Creative Knockouts #136: Border Time

Good morning stampers! I'm a day late, so two posts today! Yesterday started a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts (#135) where the challenge is....Borders! This week's sponsor is Sassy Studio Designs, and they are offering a wonderful prize to a lucky player!

Here is my project, featuring Wonder Woman Sassy. I decided to make her in traditional Wonder Woman colors. She's colored with Copics, and the gold is from a gel pen.

My border item is a bit hidden, it's the blue behind the main image panel, it's a bracket border die from Verve Stamps. The image was so large I just wanted ot use a little of the Royal Blue for accent and not overpower this awesome lady! As you can see, she is flying through the crowds with stars EVERYWHERE! ;)

For this card I used "Effie Trinket" from Sassy Studio Design. Tried to really "Effie" up her outfit with bold and crazy colors and patterns on this one. Lots of bling for her as well with rhinestone lines. She's colored with Copics.

Aud Sentiments #143: Birthday

Wow, Thursday already! Time for a new mid-inspiration post from Aud Sentiments! The challenge this time around is "Birthday". You can never have enough birthday cards!!

Creative Knockouts #100: Dry Embossing with SSD

Good morning stampers! I hope everyone's Thursday is off to a fantastic start. We are finally getting the hard cast on DS#1's arm tomorrow so really looking forward to that!

This morning I want to share a super fun card for this week's Creative Knockouts (#100) where the challenge is....Dry Embossing!  This week's sponsor is Sassy Studio Designs, and oh yes, there is a prize to be won! You KNOW how much I love SSD...I had a lot of fun creating this card:

And here is a close-up of the image so you can see all the glitter I added. I felt like her dress was just swishing and swirling....that needed a little sparkle!

I printed this beauty, and colored her with Copics. I used a Quickie Glue Pen and some of my amazing Art Institute Glitters (best glitter EVER!) to do the lines and spots for extra sparkle. I kept it pretty simple so the image would really come through (I think this is one of my favorite Sassys EVER!!). I did follow a sketch though, along with a photo inspiration. Viva la Verve July #3 and Addicted to Stamps #155: Photo Inspiration:

My first card today uses this AWESOME Space Princess Sassy from SSD. I love her I LOVE HER! Seriously. Only the most bestest person or gift or whatever would be getting this card...hello, NERD GIRL SWOON! ;) The sentiment is a clear stamp from a Paper Pretties BBQ set, I thought the bold font was perfect for her.

365 Cards - Day 25

**This is my second post today, please scroll down for the InStyle Stamps March Blog Hop post!!**

This week we are working through the ABC's of crafting at the 365 Cards challenge!  Today, Day 25, is P-Q-R, and the awesome Miss Pam chose Polka Dots (yesssssssssssss!!!!), Quilt, and Red.  Woot woot!  Let's run with this challenge, shall we??


Ooh, ooh, and also, we have a fabulous sponsor this week, Sassy Studios!  I used Bella Bride for my card today.  Here it is:

You can probably pick out PLENTY of polka dots in this creation (pptth, pppttth, PPP!!).  I also quilted the background panel before I die cut it using different pieces of red patterned paper & my trusty Hello Kitty sewing machine.  And of course no bride is complete without RED ROSES, my favorite (I actually had red & white as my wedding colors and carried red roses!).
