Things are getting busy around here with summer looming, and I needed to pare down a few of my crafty commitments. I love being on DTs, and have truly loved my time at CK. Ugh! Tears! It is bittersweet. If I find after we get into June that I have gobs more free time than anticipated, you might see me back here with another awesome CK project saying JUST KIDDING!! ;)

Here's my project, featuring Cocoa's Latte. Mmm, coffee! And little Cocoa peeking out from behind is just the cutest! I think he's my favorite SNSS character! My favorite embellishment (lately) has been buttons. I got a ton of buttons at my LSS rummage sale, and I've been digging through them constantly, finding all kinds of great stuff to use on projects. Here's my project, featuring Spring Swing. What a sweet image. I always love the option you get with TPS to use the pre-colored image, or color your own. They also include a composite (in color) and a color background paper that coordinates with the image. Such a great value in every set!

Here's my project, featuring Cinderella. Isn't she a darling? I printed her out and hand colored with Copic markers.

Lots of flourishes here, between the embossed background layer and my patterned papers. Super fun and extra girly!

I have lots of dimension and sparkle here too, using some Tonic Nuvo Drops, along with some Stardust Stickles all over the main image. Hopefully this angle shot can show it off a bit better.

I used a sketch today, Viva la Verve for February (yes, again). One of my favorite places for sketches, and I really liked this month's offering!

Here's my project, featuring Birthday Cheese. I love this image! It makes me smile. Yes, way way back in the day when I was teeny tiny, we had one of these cameras. It was the MOST AMAZING thing ever!

Since this is a camera, I wanted to add a little "glass" look to the lens and flash area. I used Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze in clear and let it dry. I took another photo at an angle to try to show the shine.

I uses a sketch today, Viva la Verve for February, one of my favorites for sketches!

We didn't have images to work with, so my card features Imagine That! Digistamp today. I adore this little toy giraffe image, and had a great time making this baby boy card. I seem to always have a stash of baby girl cards, but lately EVERYONE is having a boy. I may need more of these in the near future too! Here is my project, featuring Baby Blocks.

The inside is a vellum sticker with a baby poem that I've had in my stash....forever.

Creative Knockouts #220 - Border Time + Oddball Art New Release!

Good morning stampers! Today I'm sharing my project for the challenge over at Creative Knockouts where the theme is....Border Time! Include a border of some type on your finished project.

Here is my project, featuring Ghost Dancer Image No. 402 from Oddball Art Stamps. This is a new release image that hasn't been in the store for very long, so don't worry if you didn't happen to notice her yet. HOWEVER, now that you have...isn't she absolutely GORGEOUS!? I have a wonderful time coloring this delicate dancer for today's project.

The awesome circle sentiment is an Imagine That Digistamp image. It comes from the MOST AMAZING set of scalloped and plain, colored and black & white sentiments you will EVER see. There are 41 images in the set. Yes....41. Check it out HERE.

My border is a cloud die that I used on the left side, keeping the right side straight. The die over the main image is from Fun Stamper's Journey, as is the twine. Googly eyes on the sentiment, just for fun :)

Here is my project, featuring Cocoa Loves Football. What a great image! Of course my team had a big loss on Sunday, both in the numbers and in the loss of the best player in football (due to injury). So it's a little bittersweet to post this card. He's adorable though!!
