Time For Tea Designs - Love with Alcohol Inks

Good morning friends! Today I've tried my hand at creating one of the lovely alcohol ink marbled backgrounds I keep seeing everywhere. I've actually used Copic refills since I don't have many colors of alcohol ink (YET!!). Once I was done blowing the ink around (R85, BG72 and YR31), I spritzed it a few times with Shimmer Gold color splash from FSJ and Altenew Pure White Ink Spray.

This 4" x 6" card features the Love Sentiment Die as the focal point. I really like the font on these dies - it's just perfect. Big enough to be a main "image" on a card, but small enough to allow you to add other details or stamped images; Jo did an amazing job in creating this line. There are lots of words to choose from, so check them out! I've used Baja Breeze as the aqua color to match my inky background, and layered the word "Love" over the top using shimmer gold cardstock.

I've added a few smaller stamped images from the Bee Happy clear stamp set (the heart trail and the solid heart) using Encore Gold ink after my background was dry. I cut the large rectangle frame from the Smile Sentiment and Scalloped Frame die set and layered it over my background panel for a finishing touch.
