Time For Tea Designs - White Christmas

Happy New Year's Eve friends! In celebration, I have some bonus inspiration for you from Time For Tea Designs! Don't forget that you can (and should) play along in our monthly challenge, for your chance to win free digis! Everyone loves free digis, am I right? The theme for our challenge is Anything Goes. My favorite! It's so easy to enter - just make something using your Time For Tea Designs images and post them! Share with the hashtag #timeforteadesigns so we can find them, and you're entered to win! Challenges run monthly, and we will have a spotlight and a prize winner at the end of each challenge. Oh, and I have a discount code for you to use - T4TJENNIFER10 will save you 10% on your order from the Time For Tea shop! Yayyyy

This is (I *think*) my last Christmas card share for this year! I had to extend Christmas through New Year's (in my mind, anyway) in order to squeeze them all in with the other holiday chaos going on! But, here we are. ;)

Today's card has lots of different products - I've used the Pawsome Christmas pets tree, ornaments and Santa hat (with Pawsome Pets coordinating dies) to create the tree. This kitty is from the Mew Are Pawsome clear set (and dies) and the sentiment is from the Say Anything clear set

stamped the images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service.

To create the snowy background, I used the awesome Magical Snowflake stencil, along with our Beautiful Blender Brushes with Versamark ink. After I had the stenciled sections laid down, I added a mixture of Nuvo detail white and snow/sparkle embossing powers and heat embossed the entire sky.

My snowy hills are made from Stitched Hill dies from Lawn Fawn.

I've drawn my inspiration from Bugaboo's Critter Chaos challenges, this one is for using a holiday critter and adding snow, which I'm entering it for (Day 1).

I hope you enjoyed my project today. If you've got a moment, head over to join our FB communityfollow us on Instagram, and don't forget to play along with our monthly challenges by tagging #timeforteadesigns - so easy! Thanks for stopping by!

Time for Tea Designs - Holiday Critter Inspiration

Good morning friends! Today I'm sharing my weekly inspiration project for Time For Tea Designs. Don't forget that you can (and should) play along in our monthly challenge, for your chance to win free digis! Everyone loves free digis, am I right? The theme for our challenge is Anything Goes. My favorite! It's so easy to enter - just make something using your Time For Tea Designs images and post them! Oh, and I have a discount code for you to use - T4TJENNIFER10 will save you 10% on your order from the Time For Tea shop! Yayyyy :)

I actually stepped away from the Pawsome Christmas pets that I've not been able to keep my hands off of! Pretty crazy, right? Well, I know we're past the big day, but I have still been in the Christmas creative mood the past week and after this one, I've got one more Christmas project to share. Phew! I guess I should send out the cards that are sitting on my stamp counter too, huh? I hereby extend Christmas through New Year's (for myself) - that extra week definitely helps!

This card features stamps from the Moovellous clear set (and matching dies), Say Anything clear set, and ok, I guess I lied...the Christmas hat is from the Pawsome Christmas pets (and matching dies).

stamped the images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. The ribbon is from Ribbons and Bows Oh My!, die is the inside of a Scalloped Oval Frame from Gina Marie Designs.

To create the tree background I used the awesome Treemendous Christmas stencil, along with our Beautiful Blender Brushes and Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover. After I had the stenciled sections laid down, I oversprayed with Ranger Dyan Reaveley Dylusions ink spray to give it a little more character.

I've drawn my inspiration from Bugaboo's Critter Chaos challenges, this one is a sketch - my favorite - which I'm entering it for (Day 2).

I hope you enjoyed my project today. If you've got a moment, head over to join our FB communityfollow us on Instagram, and don't forget to play along with our monthly challenges by tagging #timeforteadesigns - so easy! Thanks for stopping by!

Time for Tea Designs - Pawsome Gift Box

Happy Monday friends! Today I have some bonus inspiration for you from Time For Tea Designs? Don't forget that you can (and should) play along in our monthly challenge, for your chance to win free digis! Everyone loves free digis, am I right? The theme for our challenge is Anything Goes. Oh, and I have a discount code for you to use - T4TJENNIFER10 will save you 10% on your order from the Time For Tea shop! Yayyyy :)

I'm still in the mode of using these adorable Pawsome Christmas pets - they are SO CUTE!! I know we're past the big day, but I have still been in the Christmas creative mood the past week and I'll have a few more Christmas cards to share. Consider it Merry New Year! ;)

The tree, gift, hat and sentiment are from the clear stamp set. This particular kitty is from the digital stamp set Pawsome Pets.

stamped the images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I used the Pawsome Pets coordinating dies to cut them out. The ribbon is May Arts, the flag die is from Craftin' Desert Divas, and I bought the tin with the printing already on it :D

I added glitter to the kitty's hat and the tree using my clear Wink of Stella brush pen so it is shimmery and sweet.

I've drawn my inspiration from Bugaboo's Critter Chaos challenges, this one is anything but a card, which I'm entering it for (Day 3). Non-card projects kind of scare me, but I think this one turned out pretty well!

Time for Tea Designs - More Pawsome Christmas!

Happy Sunday friends! Today I have some bonus inspiration for you from Time For Tea Designs? Today's project features some of our newest release stamps, dies and stencils. These Pawsome Christmas pets are SO CUTE!! I know we're past the big day, but I have still been in the Christmas creative mood the past week and I'll have a few more Christmas cards to share :)

Side note - the coolest thing in the universe is that the coordinating die set CUTS AROUND THE LITTLE PAWS when they are in the interior part of the image. So you can place things in their arms! See how I did that for the kitty's coffee cup?! Swoon!

stamped the images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I used the Pawsome Pets coordinating dies to cut them out. The ribbon is May Arts, paper is Lawn Fawn, pinking circle and label dies are from Sizzix.

I've drawn my inspiration from Bugaboo's Critter Chaos challenges, this one is a photo inspiration (below), which I'm entering it for (Day 5). I think this sentiment is hilarious, and these cutie critters are obviously up to no good sneaking snacks (and coffee!). ;)

Bugaboo Stamps' Holiday Critter Chaos - Day 7

I've had a pile of cards sitting here for days, just waiting to be shared. I got a light box from my amazing family for Christmas, and have been holding off on photos so I could try it out! Hubby put it together for me last night, so I'm working to get caught up on posting now!

I made a card for Bugaboo Stamps week-long challenge - Holiday Critter Chaos. I love playing along in Bugaboo's challenges - they always have fun-yet-straightforward themes to get the creativity flowing.

Day 7 is "Keep it Simple" and use their cutie patootie penguin freebie in your project. Here's my take, featuring an old Mojo Monday sketch and traditional Christmas colors. The image is from Bugaboo, the "Merry" sentiment is from a clear stamp set by Time For Tea Designs called Say Anything, which I cut out with my Scan N Cut after stamping. The sentiment tile is from KI Memories. Embossing folder is Cuttlebug/Provo, the circle die is from Polkadoodles - my favorite circles: Fanciful Circles nested die set. Patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn. Colored with Copics and cut with my Scan N Cut. Grosgrain from Ribbons and Bows Oh My! - best ribbon buys ever!

Here's the challenge info - they left it open until NYE this year - thank you so much!! Gives me a chance to get everything posted! More cards coming soon!

Imagine That Digistamp - December Mid-Inspiration!

Hello my dear stamping friends! I'm here today to share some inspiration for Imagine That Digistamp's "First Thursday" Challenge. This is our last challenge, which you can find on the ITD blog here, complete with amazing prizes!! The challenges start the first Thursday of each month and end on the last Tuesday before the new challenge begins. The theme is always Anything Goes. Click here for all the details.

On the first and third Thursdays of each month, there is a new inspiration post on the Creative Playground blog featuring the Design Team's projects. This is great to get your fix of ITDBK DT project postings! ALSO, I have a discount code for you! Jennifer15 will get you 15% off your entire order in the ITDBK online store. You can use it as many times as you like!

For my project today I used the Christmas Tree Bear digital stamp set to make this fun holiday card. I love his sweet face, it's just adorable! There are several of these bear digi sets to choose from (check out the Candy Cane Elf set or the Moosemas Wreath set) and they are all  TOO cute!

I'm entering this card into Bugaboo's Holiday Critter Chaos Day 4 - Tic Tac Toe/Bingo. My bingo is Plaid/Free/3 Layers or Tree/3 Layers/Glitter or Tree/Free/Ribbon (I guess it's technically metallic twine, but I keep it in my ribbon bin!). Here's the grid for your reference!

Be sure to check out the Creative Playground for more ITDBK inspiration.

Time For Tea Designs - Woodland Scene

Happy Friday friends! Are you ready for your dose of inspiration from Time For Tea Designs? I know I am! Don't forget that you can (and should) play along in our monthly challenge for your chance to win free digis! Yayyyy :)

Today's project features stamps and dies that released last month on Create & Craft, and they are in Time For Tea shop now too! So...you can use your coupon code! These Woodland Critters are just SO CUTE. I've also used the coordinating dies, and paired them with one of the deer images from the Christmas Deer clear set (and coordinating dies), and the sentiment tucked up in the upper left corner was done with the Say Anything clear stamp set.

stamped all the images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I used the coordinating dies for both sets to cut them out.

This card is 4x6 inches, instead of the standard A2 size. I needed a little more space to get all the goodies on there! I first laid out the top patterned paper panel (Doodlebug Design) and cut the border using the scalloped edge border die. Next, I cut a piece of PTI Aqua Mist cardstock to 4x6 and used
my Mini MISTI to line up the sentiment just where I wanted it. Then I ran it through my Big Shot with a Sizzix Tim Holtz embossing folder to do the swirls in the background.  I used MFT Snow Drifts Die-Namics die to create the hills out of these adorable patterned papers from Doodlebug Design.

After I had all the pieces for my scene prepared, I started putting it together. Tons of foam tape here - different thicknesses on the various layers to make things stand out. I love the dimension it gives.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. If you've got a moment, head over to join our FB communityfollow us on Instagram, and don't forget to play along with our monthly challenges by tagging #timeforteadesigns - so easy! Thanks for stopping by!

Focused by Karla Sorensen: Cover Reveal!

Title: Focused
Author: Karla Sorensen
Genre: Sports Romance
Release Date: January 7, 2020 Cover Design: Najla Qamber Designs Photographer: Regina Wamba

If you've ever seen your teenage crush ten years later, and he turns out to be a complete jerk, then you know how Molly Ward feels.

The last time she saw Noah Griffin was the regrettable day that she decided to climb into his bedroom window and turn her unrequited crush into something more.
That day was bad enough, but things are about to get worse.
Noah has become one of the best football players in the country, and he’s just landed on Molly’s front step.
As a new addition to the Washington Wolves roster, Noah's presence is the key to Molly’s promotion in the front office.
The problem is, Noah wants nothing to do with Molly, and his surly attitude is making her job very difficult.
But he's got another thing coming if he thinks Molly will be intimidated by one grumpy football player, no matter how much he hates being around her.
Once these two go head to head, their mutual dislike explodes into undeniable chemistry. But with what they have at stake, they just might detonate everything else along with it.

Well, let’s see ... I’m a wife and a mother. If the things that I write bring a smile to someone's face, then I've done my job. I am obsessed with Outlander (both the books and the show). I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob. If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen. I received my Bachelors in Public Relations and worked in health care marketing before I had my babies. I hate Twitter. I do it, but I hate it. Also, if you want to get on my good side, bring me wine and I'll love you forever.

Time For Tea Designs - Birthday Hedgie

Happy Friday friends! Are you ready for your dose of inspiration from Time For Tea Designs? So...you can use your coupon code! These Woodland Critters are just SO CUTE. I've also used the coordinating dies, and paired this little scene with the Say Anything clear stamp set and the Magical Snowflakes stencil. I REALLY love this stencil, it's so versatile as you can see!

stamped the images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I cut an A2 sized piece of
Neenah Solar White cardstock and used the beautiful blender brush to add and blend my Distress Oxide Inks to create the background. I used my Mini MISTI to line up the words in the sentiment to fit just how I wanted them. There's no way I could stamp anything that straight without my Mini MISTI!! The other great thing is that you can add another layer of ink and stamp over to get a perfectly aligned and crisp image. One of my go-to tools.

After I had all the pieces for my scene prepared, I popped it all together. Tons of foam tape here - different thicknesses on the various layers to make things stand out. I love the dimension it gives. After it was assembled I used some Grapefruit Stickles on the flower and the tree.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. If you've got a moment, head over to join our FB communityfollow us on Instagram, and don't forget to play along with our monthly challenges by tagging #timeforteadesigns - so easy! Thanks for stopping by!

stamped the fox image and accessories onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

The swirly dies are from Stampin' Up, and the oval die of the sentiment panel is from Craftin' Desert Divas. Papers are from Doodlebug Design (my absolute favorite!). I stamped the sentiments directly onto the oval and then added it to the card base. Tons of foam tape here to build this little scene - I love the dimension it gives.

The Librarian's Vampire Assistant Book 4 - Book Review

The Librarian's Vampire Assistant, Book 4 (LVA4):
Book Review

Mystery! Mystery! Mystery! {with a side of romance!}

The fourth book in the Librarian’s Vampire Assistant series continues the intrigue, plot twists, humor, and sass that we’ve come to know, love and crave! This book, in fact all books in the series, are stand-alone stories (read: these are NOT cliffys – NO cliffhangers in sight – we hate those!). Each mystery is solved by the end of the book, and the amazing and devious Mimi Jean tantalizes us with the setup for the next story. You know how much vampires (and readers!) love mystery!

I’ve read every book in this series, along with darn near everything written by the author, and I can say that things just keep getting better! All things! Pamfiloff has brought us many amazing and diverse series over the years, and I don’t think I could pick just one as my favorite. All tied for first! ;) That said, I’ve quite enjoyed this fun, unique, and crazy take on the vampire world, and I can’t WAIT for the next installment.

I personally don’t like spoilers in reviews, but rather a general overview sprinkled with some fun story or series specifics to let you get a feel for what the book will bring you. If you’ve read any of the previous stand-alones in the series, you’re familiar with Michael, Miriam, Lula, and of course the maniacal Mr. Nice. Oh, I can’t forget “Fanged Love”, the book series-within-the series that has shaped our beloved characters and their story line more than you’d think possible! The Easter Eggs in these books…I love them almost too much.

We get at excellent recap of the stories so far at the beginning of LVA4 and then we’re plunging in with everything we’ve got! You’ll be turning pages as fast as your brain can soak up the words (I read it in one sitting). There is a lot happening as the events unfold, but things may not be what they seem! In true Mimi Jean fashion, you’ll be yelling at your book while simultaneously laughing at the antics and begging for the next piece of the puzzle.

If you enjoy a good, smart mystery with sassy wit and a sprinkle of romance, then you need this book (if I could give it 6 stars, I would). I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. However, I’ve purchased other books in the series, and would have HAPPILY paid for this book five times over.

About the Author

Mimi lives with her Latin lover hubby, two pirates-in-training (their boys), and their three spunky dragons (really, just very tiny dogs with big attitudes) Snowy, Mini, and Mack, in the vampire-unfriendly state of Arizona. She hopes to make you laugh when you need it most and continues to pray daily that leather pants will make a big comeback for men.
