I've cut the background squares using the Squarey Swirly Hearts die set. Metallic twine from Lawn Fawn, pearl swirl and embossing folder from Darice, action wobble from Art Impressions.

Time for Tea Designs - Hip Hop Hooray with ACTION!

Good morning friends! Today I'm sharing my weekly inspiration project for Time For Tea Designs. Don't forget that you can (and should) play along in our monthly challenge, for your chance to win free digis! Everyone loves free digis, am I right? The theme for our challenge is Anything Goes. My favorite! It's so easy to enter - just make something using your Time For Tea Designs images and post them! Share with the hashtag #timeforteadesigns so we can find them, and you're entered to win! Challenges run monthly, and we will have a spotlight and a prize winner at the end of each challenge. Oh, and I have a discount code for you to use - T4TJENNIFER10 will save you 10% on your order from the Time For Tea shop! Yayyyy :)

For my card today, I'm showing off these adorable bunnies in the brand new Hip Hop Hooray clear stamp set! I just want to squeeze them! I told my husband we should get a pet bunny, but he didn't think that was a great idea...what a party pooper.

I've got a video of this bunny doing his Action Wobble/BOING BOING thing on my Instagram HERE if you're interested!

There's a lot going on here with today's project - it was so much fun to create! I started by cutting my large Smile Scalloped frame die out of Neenah Solar white cardstock and setting it aside. I also cut a piece of Neenah Solar white cardstock the same size as the outside border of the die so I could use it to create my background.

I flipped the frame piece over and used it as the outside mask for my background. I knew I was going to add the film strip at an angle, so I masked off a central line to break up the grass and sky using some scrap paper. Using my Beautiful Blender Brushes, I placed Distress Oxide ink (Tumbled Glass over the entire top background panel. Then I used Stormy Sky with the Lots of Love stencil from Taylored Expressions to add the hearts, fading it out toward the edges. I switched the mask to the other side and repeated with Mowed Lawn ink directly onto the cardstock, layered with the Wave Drift Pattern stencil from Gina Marie Designs and Peeled Paint ink over the top. The blender brushes put the ink on as smooth as silk!!

After I was done using the back of my frame as a mask, I ran it through my Big Shot with the Tiny Dots embossing folder to give a little more character to it.

Images are all colored with Copic markers and cut out with my Scan n Cut. For the Film Strip, I do have an OLD Sizzix die, but it wasn't quite the right shape for my purposes here, so I went online and found some clip art that I could resize to work with my layout. Then I cut it with my Scan N Cut. It's added to the card base using foam squares.

Once everything was all colored, dolled up, and cut, I started adding it to my card base and polka dot background panel. I'm normally COMPLETELY ALLERGIC to stuff being put on my cards "crooked", but I really think it adds some fun and whimsy to this scene to do it that way. I offset the background panel, the frame, and the bunnies as they hop on and off camera to move your eyes across the entire card. I've used foam squares/foam tape in varying depths from 1/16 to 3/16" across the card to give extra depth. Full supply list with links can be found at the end of this post.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. If you've got a moment, head over to join our FB communityfollow us on Instagram, and don't forget to play along with our monthly challenges by tagging #timeforteadesigns - so easy! Thanks for stopping by!

Time For Tea Designs - Kitty Love!

Happy Sunday friends! Are you ready for your weekly dose of inspiration from Time For Tea Designs? I know I am! Yayyyy :)

Today's project features some new release stamps and dies that dropped into Create and Craft TV last week, and will be in the Time For Tea shop soon. These Pawsome Christmas pets are SO CUTE!! Do you remember the Pawsome Pets digital stamp set? Well today they are ready for Christmas! Ok, I know I didn't use them for Christmas in THIS project, but that just goes to show you how versatile they are!

Side note - the coolest thing in the universe is that the coordinating die set CUTS AROUND THE LITTLE PAWS when they are in the interior part of the image. So you can place things in their paws! SWOON!

I then stamped the kitty images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I used the Pawsome Pets coordinating dies to cut them out. You can see in the darker grey kitty that I put a heart shaped button in his paws (which were cut out by the die - loveeeeeee).

die cut the "love" twice, once in white and once in the bokeh patterned paper (Fun Stampers Journey) I used behind the shaker box, and layered them together before placing them over the top of the love outline part of the die. I ran the white layer through my Gemini Jr. with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder pattern on it before I glued the layers together. The black background patterned paper is from Bo Bunny.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. If you've got a moment, head over to join our FB communityfollow us on Instagram, and don't forget to play along with our monthly challenges by tagging #timeforteadesigns - so easy! Thanks for stopping by!

Good morning everyone! It's Choosday already! That means a new Digi Choosday challenge, and a new DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles shop! Head over to the blog to grab it before your shopping spree!

Today's challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! For today's wintry inspiration, I've created a shaker card. Every time I make one I have so much fun playing with it afterwards...!

I'm featuring the adorable Rudolph from the Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun collection for shakin' fun. I printed him onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I cut him out using my Scan N Cut so he was ready to fly.

I created the shaker element for this card using the Fanciful Circles die cut set and a pre-formed cup from an old Stampin' Up package I had in the bottom of a drawer. My background paper is from the Halloween Trick or Treat Papers 1 bundle, or you can find the full Halloween collection here. As you can see, these papers are not just for Halloween! My sentiment/tag elements are all from the Baked With Love sentiment collection. Yellow Stickles sparkles under his hooves, Wink of Stella and white paint pen accents on the rooftops of the houses down below. The die is from Craftin' Desert Divas.

Today's project features this amazing Box Clever shadow box die that dropped into the store this month. Love this die set - so many options to make amazing 3D projects. Choice is good! Along with this great die set, I've used the brand new Yappy Howlloween digital stamp set. These little ghosties are SO CUTE! From now until Thursday, if you make ANY purchase in the T4T shop (don't forget to save 10%!), you will get this digi set for FREE!

I've printed the haunted house image onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and created the background with Distress Oxide inks in Scattered Straw, Aged Mahogany, and Rusty Hinge. I colored the windows and door with Copic markers, and added some shading to my little kitty ghost with markers as well. I added some borders inside the box and the "keep out" sentiment is a sticker I put onto a punch of black cardstock.

Here's that cute digi set - you need it, trust me!

Polkadoodles' Digi Choosday - Week #42: Anything Goes!

Good morning everyone! It's Choosday already! That means a new Digi Choosday challenge, and a new DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles shop! Head over to the blog to grab it before your shopping spree!

Today's challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! For today's Halloween fun I've created a witchy-shoe shaped card with a magic reveal spinner element.

To create this project, I've selected and printed some of the digital papers the Winnie Wednesday bundle and the Halloween Trick or Treat Papers 3 set onto Neenah Solar White cardstock. I also printed my sentiment from  from Winnie Wednesday and the Winnie Trick or Treat Halloween image in black and white. I colored my little witch with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service.

My adorable witch is Winnie Trick or Treat Halloween, and I've paired her with papers from the Winnie Wednesday bundle and the Halloween Trick or Treat Papers 3 set. The sentiment is also from Winnie Wednesday. My magically revealed ghost is a clear stamp from the Fab-boo-lous set - so cute!

I followed a tutorial for creating this Magic Reveal Spinner card from Splitcoast Stampers. My magically revealed ghost is a clear stamp from the Fab-boo-lous set - so cute! I fussy cut Winnie Trick or Treat Halloween, the sentiment, and the card and base layer. Lots of extra little elements to make this creation super spooky! The ribbon flag on the reveal element is what you use to turn the circle to change from the sentiment to ghostly peeker.

Don't forget to head over to the blog to grab today's discount code! Then shop your heart out. Choosday is the best day!
