Squigglefly Monday & A Sad Goodbye

Hello stamping friends!  Happy Monday to you all!  I hope the week is shaping up right for you.  :)  Today I have a card to share with you from Squigglefly, and it's my last project as a DT member.  :(  Boo hoo!!  I have loved the girls and the images but my term was up and summer is just turning out to be way too busy around here for me to continue on.  No time to stamp as it is!  So thank you Holly for the opportunity, I have had the best time and I will not be a stranger!


But enough about me, on to the CHALLENGE!!  SFC104 is your keyword, and the challenge is Red, White & Blue.  How fun & fitting!  :D  Here's my card, featuring Love Rocket.

365 Cards - Day 116

TGIF!  Welcome to the start of the weekend everyone!  I hope you have a good one planned.  :)


You know as well as I do that FRIDAY means the 365 Cards Challenge around here!  Day 116: So Fantastic.  Pick your favorite tool, favorite embellishment and favorite technique, and use them to create your card.  Ooohhh!!  Fun!


Here is what I came up with:

Favorites explained - 


Favorite tool - Cuttlebug with folders and Nesties.  Use them on almost every project I make!
Favorite embellishment - Self-adhesive pearls and rhinestones.  In swirly form?  Even better!!!
Favorite technique - Coloring with Copic markers.  I guess maybe that's not a "technique" per se, but it's my favorite way to create!

Stamp is from Paper Pretties!  Paper is new Basic Grey, yumm-o.

365 Cards - Day 109

TGIF!!  That means the 365 Cards Challenge around here!  Day 109: Mega Movie Friday.  We are being inspired by the movie posters for upcoming summer HITS on the big screen!  For me, inspiration pieces are either *snap*, perfect card in minutes...or a little tougher.  This was a *snap* that evolved along the way into something completely different!  How that happened, I don't know.  :)  Here is what I came up with:

I originally planned to use BG's Wander paper (thanks MD!), but I couldn't find it.  LUCKILY, I have complete mental illness and at least 500,000 sheets of patterned paper, and I was able to find an EVEN BETTER piece to use as the card basis in a Die Cuts With A View stack.  SCORE!

This little Robot is a digital image from Paper Pretties.  The sentiment is also a digi, and is from Whimsie Doodles.

365 Cards - Day 102

TGIF!!  Well it's officially the start of summer here, yesterday was the last day of school.  YIKES!!  Not sure what to think about all this summer-"time".  I hope there's still stamping!  ;-)


I have a card to share for the 365 Cards Challenge.  The challenge for Day 102: Keep your distance.  Have as little overlap as possible on all of your project elements.  This was a challenge for me!  But I really like how this card turned out.  Here is what I came up with: 

This sentiment stamp is from Paper Pretties.  I really like it!  I think I've made 4 or 5 cards with it now.  It just says so much and can be used for thinking of you, encouragement, friendship, and many other types of cards. I chose to use this on today's project so I could share this "thinking of you" type card with a new friend of mine.  I hope they enjoy it!

My card features Life is Good Cooper, yay a new Cooper set!  And such fabulous images and sentiments for not just cards, but also giftie items, scrap pages, you name it!  So versatile and adorable.  As always that Cooper just reminds me of my boys.  Love it!

The set being featured today is called "Life is Good Cooper".  Yay!!  It's been awhile since we've had a new Cooper.  He's the sweetest and perfect for summer.

I actually watercolored my image using watercolor crayons and an aquapainter.  It's been a long time since I've done anything but Copics!!  The buttons are a purpley color, but they look so dark in the photo.  :(  

This little sweet reminds me of mine!  Aww!

365 Cards - Day 95 and SFC100

Hello!  I am alive, but barely.  Sorry to have been so quiet this week.  Short weeks and I just don't mesh, I can't keep the days straight!  The last week we have had so much going on, with the community-built park that hubs and I have been helping fundraise and plan for these last months, long weekend, early release, the end of school upcoming, surprise retirement party for DS#1's teacher *today* (I was the party planner), extra work day to make up for holiday...I am floundering.  I also apologize to my DTs this week because I have messed up, schedule-wise.  Sorry!


I have a card today for the 365 Cards Challenge.  The post on the challenge blog is late, which is all due to me.  Pam will have it up as soon as she can, now that she has a card to share with it.  


The challenge: Use FOUR sentiments on one card, using FOUR different media (stamping, computer generated, digi, chip board, stickers, embellies, rub ons, etc.).  WOW.  Pam, you are tough!  Here is what I came up with:

The border is computer-generated, the main image is a digi.  The "N" is a Scrabble tile, and the August is a Making Memories pre-printed embellishment/tag from my stash.  WHEW!  We'd love for you to play along with us, head over to the 365 Cards Blog to link up!


Also, this card serves as my Squigglefly Challenge card for this week.  The main image is from Squigglefly.  It's the 100th challenge and the challenge was to use an element of three.  I used three glitter dots in the corner for this boy birthday card (couldn't use flowers since it's for a boy.  DARN!!).  If you'd like to play along with us at Squigglefly, link up on the Challenge Blog.  You could win!
