In the Limelight!

With all the Club Anya festivities yesterday, I never posted my big news! I was asked to be one of the Guest Designers for Limelight Papercrafts for February! You can read Mandy's announcement here if you are so inclined. I've been a fan and customer of Limelight for awhile and so I was thrilled to have a chance to work with Mandy too! LPS Monday - Sketch Challenge!

Happy Monday! Very happy here since I'm on vacation, heehee! Monday is the Little Paper Shop project showcase of course, and this week I combined my card with Julia's sketch challenge over on the LPS blog! Did you see it yet?? There's a fabulous PRIZE to be won just for playing along too, so check it out!! {Can you say FREE STAMPS?!?}.

Here's my project, using the adorable "Just Bee-Cause" stamp set from LPS. I was thinking Valentine-ish when I made it and so I HAD to go with the "Bee Mine" sentiment!! Lots of sparkle with Shimmerz on the bees' wings, plus some yellow sugarcoated paper and blingy gems too! You know I love my Shimmerz!

Here is my full card from the Sneak Peek look I posted during my time on the blog hop {see the post below}. Do you not LOVE Pretty Hat Anya?! She's one of my favorites {well, ok fine, they are ALL my favorites!}. This is SC211 from over on Splitcoast, I always love a good Sketch Challenge! Shimmerz in Angel Wings on the flowers for some SPARKLE {after I colored the white ones with my Copics to match the card!}. Liquid Pearls for her necklace, my new{est} favorite embellishment!! Multiple emails will not be able to be accepted or entered into the contest, sorry :( At 4:00 pm CST, the last Guess that Anya will be posted and you will have up to 1/2 hour after that to get your guesses in before the big reveal on the Club Anya blog at 4:30pm CST on Sunday, 2/1/09.

Pocket mirrors will be given out to the FIRST 20 people who complete ALL NINE Guess the Anya's correctly as well as the Scavenger Hunt.

3.) To enter yourself into the Grand Prize drawing for one of FIVE new Anya stamps, you must complete the above requirements and also leave a comment on THIS post (please link to the Club Anya post at noon on your blogs when it is up if you can, otherwise just Club Anya blog is fine). Garden Girl

Happy Friday! Here's a nice-weather card I made using this sweet little Gardening Girl from Lilac City Designs. She looks like she's enjoying spring! Or at least, winter in Florida like we are right now on our vacation. :-) I colored her with Koh-i-Noor pencils and Gamsol.
