Time For Tea Designs - Fries With That?

Happy Tuesday friends! Are you ready for your weekly dose of inspiration from Time For Tea Designs? I know I am! Don't forget that you can (and should) play along in our monthly challenge, for your chance to win free digis! Everyone loves free digis, am I right? The theme for our challenge is Anything Goes. My favorite! It's so easy to enter - just make something using your Time For Tea Designs images and post them! Share with the hashtag #timeforteadesigns so we can find them, and you're entered to win! Challenges run monthly, and we will have a spotlight and a prize winner at the end of each challenge.

Today's card is a little more CAS than my typical style, but I was itching to try out some new goodies! I pulled out the newly released Fries Before Guys clear stamp set and got to work!

I stamped the fry box and ketchup bottle on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them in with Copic Markers. I buy all of my markers, refills, and adhesive at Scrapbookpal.com - I have for close to 10 years! I love their fast shipping and awesome service. After they were colored, I fussy cut them out and set aside.

Each word in this stamp set is an individual stamp. This is SO helpful for creating custom sentiments, but you need to be careful when you're setting up to stamp so things don't come out crooked, or off the page. Before I stamped, I cut out the sentiment flag (Lil Inker). I chose my stamps and then pulled out my MISTI - the Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented so I could line everything up just so. I really like that I can put it all together, see how it fits, line it up, and stamp away. No more mistakes or crookedness from "eyeballing it". Once I was happy with it I stamped the phrase in Versamark and heat embossed it using white Embossing Powder.

I used Fancy Stitched Label dies from Craftin' Desert Divas for the background area. The larger label is sprayed with FSJ gold mica spray for a fun splash of color & shine. Glitter and enamel dots made with yellow Stickles and black Nuvo Crystal Drops. Various layers are popped for dimension - thickness 1/16" up to 1/4" (I love my foam squares!).

Oh and as always with Time For Tea Designs - don't forget to use my discount code: T4TJENNIFER10. It will save you 10% on your order from the Time For Tea shop! Yayyyy :)

I'm entering this into the following challenges -

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - #111: AG (3/3)
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - #1932: AG (1/3)
Lemon Shortbread - #100: AG (1/3)

I hope you enjoyed my project today! If you've got a moment, head over to join our FB community, follow us on Instagram, and don't forget to play along with our monthly challenges by tagging #timeforteadesigns - so easy! Thanks for stopping by!

Time For Tea Designs - August Inspiration

Today's card features a scene that I put together using stamps from two different clear sets - Mew Are Pawsome and Butterflies. I built the scene around an olllllld Mojo Monday sketch from my sketchbook archives. I had fun playing around with making the sentiment pop. The best way I've found to line up my images when I'm creating a scene is with the MISTI - the Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented (you gotta love that name!). I can put it all together, see how it fits, line it up, and then stamp away. No more mistakes or crookedness from "eyeballing it". I love my MISTI - it also helps if you flubbed the inking and need to get a spot darker or more clear - no guesswork when you're aligning everything. I've had it for a few years, but I'm trying to do a better job explaining things when I put my blog posts together, so I wanted to add that tip in today. :)

Oh and as always with Time For Tea Designs - don't forget to use my discount code: T4TJENNIFER10. It will save you 10% on your order from the Time For Tea shop! Yayyyy :)

I colored up this sweet kitty scene using my Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I fussy cut the kitty and flower (these sets both have matching dies HERE and HERE, but I had my craft area half torn apart last week when I was making this and I couldn't find one of my boxes of dies). After they were cut, I arranged this little scene with the grass, hill, sun and clouds. The background dies come from LDRS Creative Super Scenes. Various layers are popped up with foam tape - thickness 1/16" up to 3/16".

I'm entering this into the following challenges -

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - #111: AG (2/3)
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - #1931: AG (2/3)
Get Creative - #83: AG (2/3)
Cute N Crafty - #30: AG (2/5)

A summer celebration theme with fruity drinks - count me IN!!

My papers today are from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Papers #5. These are DELICIOUS! My images are Seashore Shannon, and several awesome elements from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles VIP bundle (you get EVERYTHING with the bundle - by far the best deal around!). The images are Seashells and Cherry Cocktails. Sentiment from Winnie Celebrations 2 bundle is overlaid on the seashell in Photoshop before printing/cutting. Fanciful circles die used here underneath for my "sand" - you know how much I love those circles! Tons and tons of foam tape to give extra dimension to this interactively fun card! All other dies from Gina Marie Designs. Glitter enamel dots from Doodlebug Designs.

A Gem of a Challenge - Week 15: Anything Goes!

Good morning everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. This morning I'd like to announce that I've joined the group of amazing designers at A Gem of a Challenge - where we feature Pink Gems Designs digistamps available from the Polkadoodles digi store! Nikky carries a wide range of Pink Gems digis - you've got one stop shopping all under one umbrella here. There's something for everyone!

Our Gem of a Challenges run for 2 weeks, so you've got lots of time to link up. Check out the challenge blog HERE.

Our challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! Yay!

For today's project I've created a sweet "just because" or perhaps Anniversary card featuring Ella Elephant Birthday Balloon. I love these Pink Gems animals - there is a whole range of images for all occasions, and they're just adorable! I actually cut off the balloon when I was fussy cutting this image after coloring. I thought it fit on the card base better without the extra bit. My papers are from Winnie White Christmas (Papers 1) and Little Dudes collection (Party Little Dude). The sentiment is from Winnie Celebrations 3.

I colored up this cutie using Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. The layout is from an old Mojo Monday sketch, which is actually still up and running on Julee's personal blog here if you want to check it out. It's one of my Top 3 sketch challenges over the years, so much great inspiration!

I'm entering this into the following challenges -

Imagine That Digistamp - August Challenge!

Good morning my dear stamping friends! I'm here today to share some inspiration for Imagine That Digistamp's "First Thursday" Challenge. That's right, the challenge is now monthly, on the ITD blog, complete with prizes!! The challenges start the first Thursday of each month and end on the last Tuesday before the new challenge begins. The theme is always Anything Goes. Click here for all the details.

On the first and third Thursdays of each month, there will be a new inspiration post on the Creative Playground blog featuring the Design Team's projects. This is great to get your fix of ITDBK DT project postings!

Today I've created a fun card using the Freda's Flower Basket digi set. The set contains black and white and color images, plus sentiments and papers. I've also used a paper and the sentiment from the Leesa's Tulip set to complete the project. Dies are from Gina Marie Designs - Stitched Square and Venetian Rectangle, glitter enamel dots from Doodlebug Designs.

This is a Double Twisted Easel card! How cool is that?! This is my first time making a card like this, so I used the precolored images from the set (in case my try was a fail, I didn't lose all my coloring too). I think it turned out really well and it's VERY surprisingly easy to make!! Even I was able to manage ;) I found the instruction here at Cardmaking Magic.

I'm entering this into the Petals for the Pittman's floral card fundraiser/linky contest. Check out THIS POST for all the information. I can't even imagine how difficult the family's struggle is right now. Consider checking out the awesome digi sets that have been assembled to help raise money. Jessica from Polkadot Orchard has done a mind-blowingly amazing job putting this together! I can't even share all the image photos here, there are too many!

I'm also entering this into the following challenges:

Lemon Shortbread - #99: AG (3/3)
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - #110: AG (3/3)
QKR Stampede - #359: AG (2/3)
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - #1930: Wings (2/3)

That's it for me today! Be sure to check out the Creative Playground for more ITDBK inspiration.
