AND selected Spellbinders are on sale over at her shop in the Specials section - great deals to be had and once they are gone, they are gone so get yours!
It's Tuesady!! Do you love it?! We have another fantastic Try It Out Tuesday challenge from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design for you today! This week's challenge (TIOT47) calls for a fancy fold card featuring the newest Elisabeth Bell for SCACD image line, Sampler Edition #2. Any type of fold will do this week so be creative!
For today's challenge I chose to make an easel card. These were all the rage a few weeks back and I didn't get around to making one then, so I'm all over it today! What a fun idea this card concept is. If you click the link above you can find the instructions for this type of fold/card.
I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on PTI white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. After she was colored up, I cut her out, along with some Classic Oval Nesties to use for mats. The rest is all patterned paper (Basic Grey OF COURSE) and bling! I used a BG brad for the base of the easel and lots of Kaisercraft rhinestones to decorate the front. She is FABULOUS, one of my latest favorites from the amazingly talented minds of Elisabeth and Susana!
Be sure to check out the SCACD store blog for lots more inspiration from this week's challenge! Oh, and don't forget, Susana has another new product in -- the latest colors and mixes of Bella Embellishments! Love those little guys, they add so much so fast to any project and the new mixes are yummers!

We would love for you to ink up your Paper Pretties stamps and play along with us! This week we have a sketch from Frances. Yay!! Sketches are my favorite!
What a fun one! I decided to use this gorgeous new wedding set, Time For Cake. I always love a good wedding set and these cakes are gorgeous!! My colors are PTI Aqua Mist and white. The patterned paper is from Target of all places. :-) Gotta love a deal! I added a bit of color to the cake with my Copics, then added white Sparkly Fluff all over. Love this stuff! It's silver accents go with my foiled paper and metallic pearls. Yum!
Here are the challenge details -
How to Enter: Make a card following the challenge guidelines with any Paper Pretties stamps. Upload the card to the Paper Pretties gallery. Please include it in the Weekly Challenges album and use keyword PWC80.

TIOT46 - All Boxed Up
It's Tuesady!! Do you love it?! We have another fantastic Try It Out Tuesday challenge from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design for you today! This week's challenge (TIOT46) calls for a holiday box. Any box size, shape or type will do!
For today's challenge I chose to make a mini pizza box. I got the tutorial from Rachel's blog, what a fun little idea this was! She saved me lots of time with her easy tutorial, so check it out if you'd like to try one of these yourself! It's a really great size for a quick treat, some mini note cards, or even a tiny treasure or two.
Isn't it fun?? Here's another view that shows more of the front, I added a sentiment to the flap here:
And of course an opened view, I added these cute little Christmas Peeps that I could not resist at the grocery store yesterday. You know how that goes, run in for milk and come out with $30 of stuff you *probably* don't need....
For my main image on the top of the box, I decided to pull out one of the Special Edition Ornament Collection by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD images -- this is called Three French Hens. To fit her onto this cute little mini box, I omitted the ornament around her on the rubber image. I really love that these images are so versatile! You can do cards or non-card projects, and you can use the image in many ways too. It's like two-for-one!I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on PTI white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. After she was colored up, I cut and matted her. In the meantime, I made my mini pizza box, putting it together with SCOR-TAPE, my favorite adhesive ever EVER!! I added some Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses patterned paper and some red metallic for an extra splash. Some Kaisercraft rhinestones of course, and a Prima poinsettia on the front flap and she is all set!
Be sure to check out the SCACD store blog for lots more inspiration! I hope you play along with us, we LOVE to see what you create!
