LPSC80 - Sketch It

It's MONDAY!! Yay!! I love starting my week with a great challenge from the {Little Paper Shop}! For today's challenge {your uploading keyword is LPSC80}, we have a fun new sketch challenge for you!  Sketches are my favorite challenge type (like you didn't already know that!).

First off, here's my card, using {Moments}.  Such an amazing sentiment set.  I love every part of it!

I used some of this gorgeous Kaisercraft Peachy Keen paper collection, and centered the whole card around it.  So pretty, how could I not?!!  I stamped the image with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  Nesties (of course!) on the main image panel.  A simple card today to showcase the beautiful sentiment and paper.

Ok, and then here's the sketch from DT member Allison!  As you can see I rotated it to the left for my project today in order to incorporate the bird pattern.

Prettie Preview - THE GRAND RE-OPENING IS COMING!!

Ok, this week we have another fabulous sketch challenge from Prettie Girl Frances!  Sketches are my favorite and Frances makes great ones!  Here's my contribution, featuring Bugs and Fishes:

Isn't he a cute lil' bug??  I haven't pulled him out in awhile so I thought I'd give him some ink time.  :) 

Here's the sketch:

I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on PTI white and colored with Copic markers. 
I added some red stitching around the back panels, and some Black Glitter Dots in the extra space for some sparkle and bling.  Paper Pretties has 18 colors of Glitter Dots in stock now!  These are awesome for projects, so fast and easy, they are flat-backed and go on with a Mini Glue Dots, another of my favorite products.

I actually went a little bit challenge crazy on this card.  I usually do a sketch and maybe throw in a color challenge, or an inspiration piece or something, but today I have a whole LIST!!  It's a first for me, but as I was checking out all of last week's glitter card challenge participants, I found SO MANY new challenge blogs, I just had to try them all out!  I got lucky and lots of people wanted bugs this week - it's that time of year!  :)  Thanks to all my new challenge blogs for all the fun - I will be back!!  Here is the list:

TPE77, CC281 - More Cowgirl FUN!

Helllllllllo and happy weekend to everyone!!  The summer is flying by so the down time is precious, isn't it??  Earlier in the week I got some down time of my own, and I made another "just for fun card" based on this week's sketch over at The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog.  That's one of my favorite challenge blogs to play along with so when I saw it was a sketch I knew I had to get some stampin' time! 

Here's my contribution, featuring Howdy Girlfriend Sophia - currently on sale for only $5 in the Prettie Boutique!!  I'm having a great time creating with her these days.  She looks so sassy and fun!

Here is the sketch {TPE77} I used, for your reference -- thanks girls for another great challenge!

I stamped my lil' Cowgirl with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on PTI white and colored her with Copic markers.  Added some Shimmerz Angel wings (just a TOUCH) to her belt buckle and the star on her boot.  I went with some Ruby Slipper Glitter Dots in the extra white space for some sparkle and bling.  Paper Pretties has 18 colors of Glitter Dots in stock now!  These are awesome for projects, so fast and easy, they are flat-backed and go on with a Mini Glue Dots, another of my favorite products. Cardstock and trims from Stampin' Up, and patterned paper from The Paper Studio (I had it in my stash).
