Something Fun From JessicaLynn

Thursday already?!  Time flies, doesn't it?

I have a card to share today that I made "just because".  Love when that happens!  Long-time blog visitors may remember that awhile back I was on the JessicaLynnOriginal Design Team.  I had to step down due to "La Vida Loca", but I still have my JLO stamps - Jessica Lynn is a sweetheart and she's got a great variety of images to play with.  She sent me a few digis the other day, and I started out making this card:

I love this scene!  It's called "When the Sun Goes Down in the City".  So cool and unique.  I printed this image onto PTI white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.  After I had it all colored up nicely, I went through with my W1 Copic and "dirtied it up".  It's a big city after all - it's not crisp and clean!  I paired it with BRAND NEW Basic Grey patterned paper and viola!  Lime Green Stickles on the edges of the Pinking Circle (Nestabilities).

This is a sketch too!  Card Patterns for this week (#82) - nice one ladies, thank you!

Sentiment is from one of the new release sets for Paper Pretties.  They are coming your way TOMORROW, September 18th!!  Be back here for our new release blog hop!

Prettie Preview - CLUCK II

Happy Monday to all my stampin' friends!  I hope you had a good weekend!!  Today is a TWO POST kinda day, I have my regular {Little Paper Shop} Monday Challenge card, along with a special PREVIEW for the September Release over at Paper Pretties!!  I can't believe it's time for the second release already!!  We have so many great sets coming your way, you will not BELIEVE the cuteness.  :)

My preview today is for Cluck II.  Chicks Rule!!

This week our challenge is to used Glitter Dotspearls, or rhinestones (keyword: PWC119).  Glitter Dots are one of my favorite embellishments!!!  They add so much, they are cheap, fast and easy.  I put mine on using Mini Glue Dots.

I used a sketch for this project, Taylored Expressions #128 (TESC128).  I just love the look on this little chicken's face.  TOO FUN!!  The chicken wire you see in the background is a stamp too!  Yes it is!  Perfect for making backgrounds of any size, you can line it up and stamp all the way across the paper.  Love it!

I was also thinking of the Card of the Week challenge when I created this project.  The challenge this week is to create a "Thinking of You" card.  I like this sentiment because it's simple and you can send the card to anyone - for any reason.  Thanks Susanna for the challenge!

We are smack in the middle of previews, they'll be happening all week on the Paper Pretties blog and the individual blogs of the Prettie Girls.  FRIDAY is release day, and we'll be back here with a blog hop!  You still have time to participate in the current Prettie Wednesday Challenge - use rhinestones, pearls, or glitter dots.  You have until tomorrow night to link up on the Paper Pretties blog for a chance to win Prettie stamps!

See you back here Wednesday for a new Prettie Challenge!  Thanks for stopping by!
