Jilted! AFSS28 Challenge Card

I was so excited when I saw Allison's Suggestive Sunday challenge for this past week. AFSS28 - Jilted!! Hahahaha, I knew I had to find some time to make a card.

There is hardly any stamping on this. I stamped the BG pattern on the red piece with a retired Angel Company background stamp. The dress is a photo I found through Google Images and I made the sentiment on the computer. It's kind of a quick-n-dirty card since I was racing the nap clock yesterday but at least I got to make something! {Also, the printer is almost out of ink so it did not print very well. *sigh*}.

Sometimes Blogger doesn't have the "click the photo to see an enormous version" option when I post my posts, so in case it's too small to be legible, the text reads "For sale: Wedding dress, size 8. Worn once by mistake."

I am off to Scrapmania in a couple of hours with Heather for a stampin' good time/girl's night; so I gotta finish some stuff around here, clean myself up, get my stupf packed up and head out. Happy Saturday night - I'll see you tomorrow!

A Bunch of Wild Animals

I made these Thank You cards as part of a baby gift for a friend of my dad's. She lives in Madison now, and just had twin boys. We got to go and meet them when my parents were here visiting last week. You can never have enough Thank You cards, especially with your first child(ren)! I stamped the envelope flaps with the sentiment "It's a Jungle In Here!" in Bashful Blue {but I forgot to take a picture of the back of the packet}. These went right into the gift bag with the onesies I got her - I didn't have a lot of notice to try to do anything more interesting with the packaging, but at least I got the cards made! The "thank you" is stamped twice -- because they're TWINS! Get it?

The colors are Bashful Blue and So Saffron. Ribbon from RABOM. Stamps from The Angel Company - Wild Animals and the "Thank You" is from SU's All Natural set.

TAC Retiring List

I found out yesterday that The Angel Company (TAC) retiring list has been announced. TAC went to semi-annual catalogs this catalog year, just like Stampin' Up! did. Their Fall catty sales period will be ending at the end of the year and a lot of great sets are going with it. I can't wait to see what the new year will bring.
