Hello my dears! I have a HUGE post to share with you today. Last week, Oddball Art Stamps had their October release, and it is AMAZING. Nine....9....yes, NINE new images are available in the Etsy Shop right now!
I've created projects with 3 of the images, and decided since this release is so big and fun, I'll share them all here in one post. No lines, no waiting! All of my coloring in these projects was done with Copics.
This card uses Sleeping Fox, Image No. 347. I adore him! So so sweet. He might be my favorite from this release....oh boy....as IF I could pick just one favorite! Nice try ;) Paper and leaf sticker are from Doodlebug, dies are from Spellbinders, embellies are from Basic Grey, Fun Stampers Journey, and Lawn Fawn.
Trick or treat!! She's called Spooks, Image No. 345, and s
he's a fabulous Halloween fairy, but she could be used for other things too without any trouble! So versatile. Die from Gina Marie. Paper from Doodlebug. Sequins and google eyes from Dollar Tree, if you can believe it!
Here I'm featuring Image No. 343 - Stars and Bubbles. I had a lot of fun....and stress making this card! LOL, I am still learning to get really messy in my crafting...the engineer in me does not like being out of control in regards to some of these funky fun watercolor techniques, using sprays and powders where the placement is often random...it's HARD! But it's also very fun, and it can make SUCH incredible products. I've seen so many with the Brushos paint powders, sprays like the ones Fun Stampers Journey sells (by far the best colors, best designed bottles, best sparkle, and best control), watercolors with various media, etc. So I've been experimenting a bit too ;). For this project I printed the image to encompass the entire space on the card, and used the sentiment from Image No. 207 to round off the front. Then I colored the Stars and Bubbles using Copics. After that was dry I used watercolor crayons to provide a base of background watercoloring, leaving some white space, which I filled with the Pineapple and Blue Lagoon sprays from FSJ while the paper was still wet in most places so it continued to bleed a LITTLE. I finished it off with various colors of the Nuvo Drops from Tonic (glittery red, black, turquoise, white and clear) randomly applied. I distressed the edges of the main image panel and the base of red cardstock before I assembled. SUPER MESSY but a lot of fun and I was so happy with how this card turned out.
Whew! That's all the showcases that I have to share with you today. My DT Sisters made some absolutely amazing projects, so be sure to pay them a visit too, and the fabulous Lizzy Love is sharing everything over the next few days on her blog as well.
