Wow, finally! What a week....but now: HELLO WEEKEND, stamping friends!! We've been waiting for today for awhile...WELCOME to the JessicaLynnOriginal.com STAMP SET LAUNCH and inspirational blog hop. Isn't this FUN?! Oh my gosh, I am so in love with these chickies. There are 4 different tiny ones to go along with Brentwood and buddies, and other design elements and sentiments. This is a great spring set and just a lot of fun to play around with! I had a blast with this design, and my 11 year old son came down when I was finishing up and told me how much he LOVED it and how CUTE the little chicks are. *love*

Simply Papercraft #25: Anything Goes!

Happy FRIDAY, my lovelies!!! I'm so happy the weekend is here! Today I'm sharing my latest card for Simply Papercraft. Our bi-weekly challenges are ALWAYS "Anything Goes". I love this! Makes it easy and fun to combine challenges and really show off your best work. This week's challenge is sponsored by Crafty Sentiments! As always, fantastic and generous prizes are up for grabs!

For my card today I used the "Benson Bear - With Love" image. He's such a sweetie! I love that face. After coloring it up and seeing these sweet girlie colors, I went with a baby card for this project.

Quick recipe - colored with Copics, of course. Die and Frame Die from MFT. Banner die from LaLaLand Crafts. Label die is Spellbinders....OLD set. FunStampersJourney linen thread tinted with the pink Copic marker. KaiserCraft rhinestones. Lots of foam tape and Journey Liner tape (extra sticky!). Paper is DCWV. SU cardstock. I use Neenah 110# Cover Solar White cardstock for all my images.

I played with Bugaboo's February Bingo for this card, right down the left side with Hearts, Pink and Designer Papers.

Penny's Challenge #266: Anything Goes

Good morning stampers! I hope everyone's week is going well! Sorry for the late post here, I'm catching up from all my crazy work deadlines still. Just about there! Phew! Today I finally get to share the happy news that I have joined the amazing designers over at Penny's Challenge as a part of their Design Team. I'm so excited to be starting this adventure! Penny's is a challenge I have played in quite often, and I'm always very impressed by the Design Team's work and the fun challenges they provide. Now I'll be "playing" every week!!

So for my post today, I want to share my card for this week's challenge; where the challenge theme is....Anything Goes!

I used some beach sand I collected on a visit to my parent's house underneath his feet and in his bucket to provide some texture and authenticity. Sentiment is from Verve Stamps. The hearts are wooden laser cut pieces that I colored with my Copic marker.
