Sami Stamps Release GDT: Blossoms Girl (Post #2)

GOOD MORNING everyone, and Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We were busy here with activities for the kids and even a parent's night out!

My post today is the second card that I made as a guest designer for Sami Stamps for their Floral Girls release that just came out on Friday. I'm SO thrilled to have joined Sami and the amazing ladies to showcase these gorgeous images. Sami Stamps is one of my favorite digi companies, so it was quite an honor for me. I chose to play with this lovely image called Blossoms Girl.

Here's my project! I printed this lovely on PaperTrey white and colored her with Copics. Then I went over her dress with a translucent ultra-fine glitter in light aqua. I used a Quickie Glue Pen to apply the glue over the entire dress, and then while it was still tacky I added the glitter. The yellow patterned paper layer is Stampin' Up!, along with some Soft Sky cardstock for the base. Since I did so much with embellies and layers on the first card I made with this lovely, I decided to keep this one fairly CAS and let her speak for herself! Sentiment is from SU also. I free-handed the dots at the end, and the pearl for a little something special at the top.
