LPS Monday - Allison's Sketch

It's MONDAY!! Yay!! I love starting my week with a great challenge from the {Little Paper Shop}! For today's challenge {your uploading keyword is LPSC74}, we have a fun new sketch challenge for you! First off, here's my card, using one of my Top 5 favorites at the {Little Paper Shop}, {Beauty of Nature}.
And here's the sketch from DT member and all-around superwoman; Allison!

You can see I cheated a little (I prefer the term "got creative", of course). Since I used a sentiment as my main image I added ribbon at the bottom where the sketch calls for the sentiment. I went with brads up top for my embellishment, and I kept the shape the same there, love that idea! I chose a more "scenic" piece of patterned paper so that I'd have a little more going on when the card came together, this is some of the paper from the My Sweet Cherry Pie collection from Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. The little bird stamp is from Nikki too, it's not part of the sentiment. The flower at the bottom is from Prima, pearls are Zva Creative.

Be sure to visit the
LPS store blog and the other DT members to see all the inspiration with this week's fabulous challenge! AND, if you play along with us you'll be entered to win this week's prize -- stamps from the {Little Paper Shop}!! Check out the details this morning - you have until Sunday night to enter by linking up on this week's post on the LPS store blog and the winner will be announced there next Monday morning. Can't beat free stamps AND an excuse to use them!

6 people made my day!:

LOL, I prefer the term creative too! At least you used DP...I sorta ignored that part of the challenge.
Wonderful color combo and I like the details - those brads are a great way to interpret the sketch.
