LPS Preview BLOG HOP!

Happy morning stampin' friends! It's MONDAY!! Yes it is, but as you know around here Monday is a GOOD thing, because I feature the {Little Paper Shop}, where there is so much to love you hardly know where to begin!

This particular Monday is even more special than most, because we are BLOG HOPPIN' our latest preview -- the March releases will be available at the {Little Paper Shop} store TOMORROW, and you are going to need these (just like every month, ha!!). So WELCOME from Julie's blog. You're right where you should be. She's always got a fabulous project to share, doesn't she?! Today we are showing off the {Everyday} set, a beautiful sentiment collection. Here is mine:

For my project today, I used this week's Taylored Expressions sketch (TESC104), flipped on it's side. It's also the start of a new challenge today {LPSC59 is the keyword for public forum uploads}; and Cindy has asked us this week to "make something old new again"! My something old items are the plain scalloped border punch (there are too many to choose from, it's been awhile on this one) and the yellow Prima flower. Yeah, I have literally 1,000's of Primas and yet I only use the NEW ones I buy, so I dug around for one to layer up on today's project -- it represents all of it's neglected Prima sista's too, LOL! I added on one of the AMAZING Prima mini roses (I know, where have I been that I only just now got these?!?!?!). There's SMOOCH Illuminate topcoat dabbed onto the Prima and the mini rose -- it looks so pretty IRL. What a great product! I paper pierced all the layers on the main panel for extra depth and stamped the sentiment directly onto the PP with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.

Here's the sketch:

Ok, that's enough from me! To continue on the hop, head over and visit ALLISON at Stampin' When I Can. Did you know I first learned of LPS - waaaay back when Julia first started the company - from her? I was a customer before I was on the DT and I've never looked back! Thanks girl!

If you're just starting the hop here at my blog, be sure head over to the LPS store blog to start from the beginning. If you're on course, be sure to stop in at the store blog when you're all hopped out and enter for a chance to win this set! Lastly, play along with us this week for our "make something old new again" challenge and you'll have another chance to win free stamps! Check out the details on the LPS store blog this morning - you have until Sunday night to enter by linking up on this week's post on the LPS store blog and the winner will be announced there next Monday.

See you tomorrow!

I just love how the sentiment runs horizontal to the pattern of the paper. Great catch for the eyes!
