PWC125 - Hip To Be Square!

For this week's challenge (keyword: PWC125) it's HIP TO BE SQUARE!  Yes it is!!  I love our fun challenges over here at Paper Pretties, they let you be creative without being too HARD, LOL.  So you may be able to guess, but all you have to do to participate this week is create a square project!  And of course, link up on the Paper Pretties Blog to enter.  Here is my contribution using the newly released Holiday Polly.

I stamped Polly with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on PTI white and colored him with Copic markers.  I added some Emerald Glitter Dots in the extra white space for some sparkle and bling, along with Kaisercraft Rhinestones along the circle's scallops.  Paper Pretties has 18 colors of Glitter Dots in stock now!  These are awesome for projects, so fast and easy, they are flat-backed and go on with a Mini Glue Dots, another of my favorite products.  Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter on the hat.

It's MONDAY!!  What better way to start off the week than with another great challenge from the {Little Paper Shop}?!

We have a great sketch for you to try out!  Our very own Allison always has great ideas!  And who doesn't enjoy a good sketch challenge??  Here is my card using {Rose}.  I know the photo makes a few of the lines look funky, I added the white/iridescent Smooch over the top of each line to give it a little shimmer and definition.  Unfortunately the camera picked it up in kind of a funky way.

It's a Prettie BIRTHDAY!!!!

...Guess who's??  Our very own AMAZING and TALENTED owner, HEATHER!!!  Yes, she's been in charge over at the Prettie Boutique for months now and the improvements she's made are SO VERY impressive!!  Happy birthday my friend!  I hope it's a fabulous day filled with family, friends, and STAMPING.  Here's the card I made for her, featuring the Paper Pretties stamp set Dog-Gone Birthday.  I think this pup is ADORABLE.

LPSC90 - GLITTER and a Preview!

Hello and welcome from Joy's blog to the second day of our October previews here at the {Little Paper Shop}! We have more fabulousness to show you today with a sweet and fun new holiday set called {Tyson Snowman}.

Also, since it's Monday we also have a new weekly challenge for you - so we're incorporating it into today's preview. LPS Preview Hop - {Lucy Elf}

Here is my card featuring the lovely Lucy - sorry my picture is not the best, hard to see but all the white parts of her outfit have flocking on them.  Fuzzy and funky fun!  It looks really sweet in person, I promise!

Paper Pretties OCTOBER RELEASE is HERE!

Hello, HELLO!!  Welcome aboard the Paper Pretties Release Party Train!  If you've come from Jane's blog, you are in the RIGHT PLACE! 

I've been impatiently waiting for today for weeks!  I am SO in love with all the new stamps and I couldn't wait for all of YOU to see them.  We have some of our favorite kiddos, Sophia and Cooper, plus perfection in traditional Christmas images, and of course more fun critters from our newest illustrator, Victoria Case.  Yep, all seven of the FABULOUS October new release sets from Paper Pretties are available RIGHT NOW in the Prettie Boutique.  As soon as you finish the hop, head over and check them out for yourself.  Friday is a great day to SHOP!

I have several cards for you today that show off these absolutely gorgeous snowflakes!  Christmas is comingggg....ack!!  This set is appropriately called "Snowflakes".  {The "Merry" sentiment on this first card comes from the new "O Christmas Tree" set}.  You can click any of the photos to view a larger version if you wish!

Here we are with a nice basic black card {heat embossing on this one to make that white POP}: 

And lastly, a pretty white and vanilla card - the photo does not do this justice, I used shimmery white and shimmery vanilla paper - it is DELISH in person!

Prettie Preview - O Christmas Tree

Welcome to the week!  It's time ALREADY for some more great Prettie Previews - the new release coming up at Paper Pretties is THIS FRIDAY, October 15th.  Time sure flies when you're having fun!

For today's peek, we're getting into the holiday spirit!  Not an easy thing to do when it was in the mid-80s here over the weekend!  (NOT that I am complaining - heehee).  This set is called O Christmas Tree.
