Simply Papercraft #11: Always Anything Goes!

I'm so happy it's finally Friday! Finally grabbing some time for blogging today to share a new card for Simply Papercraft. Our bi-weekly challenges are ALWAYS "Anything Goes". I love this! Makes it easy and fun to combine challenges and really show off your best work. This week's challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo, one of my favorites!! As always, fantastic and generous prizes are up for grabs! Free digis? Yes, please!

I used this AWESOME Stella Birthday: 29 Again? today, with a pretty simple layout. I really wanted to showcase it, since it's a sentiment and image combined, it does it all! Every time I see this image it cracks me up.

That's it for me! Don't forget to swing over to the Simply Papercraft blog to link up your  projects for your chance to win! My DT sisters have created some beautiful inspiration, so leave them some love too!

Creative Knockouts #102: Recipe Time!

Good morning stampers! I hope everyone's Thursday is off to a fantastic start!  This morning I want to share a super fun card for this week's Creative Knockouts (#102) where the challenge is....Recipe!  This week's sponsor is Stitchy Bear, and oh yes, there is a prize to be won! The recipe is: 3 embellishments (3 of the same, or different), 2 patterned papers, 1 image, and 1 sentiment. Love it!

He's SO adorable!! I had a blast coloring him up - from the Valentine Bundle I. All of the images in that set are FANTASTIC but I had to use this guy for today's card. The sentiment is from Paper Pretties.

I pulled from this wonderful color palette over at Creative Colors Challenge. I used colors from the image itself, not the bars along the bottom (I wanted softer, more pastel look for this Elephant love!). I really like playing along with their challenge and ideas...lots of great stuff to try out!

That's it for me today! Don't forget to swing over to the Creative Knockouts blog to link up your Outdoor-themed projects for your chance to win! My DT sisters have created some beautiful inspiration, so leave them some love too!

Good morning! Welcome to AUGUST. What?? I still don't know how that is possible! I hope everyone is having a great summer :)

I wanted to pop in today to let you know there is a new challenge up at the 2CraftyGirls challenge blog. The blog is under new ownership, and has been restarted. Yay! This is the first challenge since the change so we hope you will come on over, check things out, and play along! I'm including the challenge board here, you can use 1, 2, or even all 3 of these elements to create your project!

The challenges run monthly, with inspiration posts on the 1st and 15th. Team A is posting today, so be sure to stop by the blog and leave them some love! I'll be back, along with the rest of Team B on the 15th to give you some fresh ideas. I can't wait to see your projects for this great new challenge board!
