Polkadoodles Digi Choosday - Week 21

Today's challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! This week the DT has focused on the theme of "vintage". I enjoy making vintage cards, because the theme can be interpreted in so many ways! To me, it says soft, muted colors, flowers, ephemera, doilies & lace. So I've gone with many of those elements today, and I love how my project turned out!

Starring in today's vintage-themed card is Miss Helga Hippo - Flower Girl! I have used the black & white version, and hand-colored her with Copics. I added in lots of elements found in the Helga Hippo Big Kahuna Download bundle, including paper from Paper Heaven 4, Design Sheet Duo 13, along with a sentiment from the Helga Hippo Sentiment bundle. It's a Helga kinda day! I included the individual links, but seriously, just grab the big bundle. It's an amazing deal, "big" is truly an understatement. There is SO much packed in there: gorgeous coordinating papers, toppers, elements, sentiments, color images...plus all the black & white line art too, if you love to color! Isn't she lovely? I had such fun choosing some fun vintage spring colors, and bringing her to life! I've used flowers from Prima, and K&Co., some twine from FSJ, lots of foam tape for extra pop, and added some Diamond Stickles to the hem of her dress.
