Happy
Friday....for the 5th and final time today! I have a very FUN card to share as my last post of the day. I decided to
play along with the HUGE Winter/Holiday 2015 Coffee Lover's blog hop going on now.
There are so many awesome sponsors, and page after page of fantastic
projects being linked up! JessicaLynnOriginal.com is one of the sponsors, and in addition to the prizes, Jessica Lynn has a brand newFREE DIGI STAMPin her shop right now in honor of this great blog hop. This digi will be FREE until December 19th. If you miss the freebie, it will be available for purchase following the giveaway period. I have used this great image on my project today, it's called Barista Brentwood Owl. TOO CUTE for words!!
Of COURSE, this is a winter holiday-and-coffee themed card, to match the hop. I
used my favorite embossed snowflake background, Christmassy colors for Mr. Brentwood and his bevvie, plus a fancy Christmas star on the end of his wintery greeting.
This is an easy 1-layer CAS card. I printed my Brentwood and colored him
in. Then I decided I wanted him on an embossed holiday background, so I had to cut him out, hehe.I made the base and background and then added my little barista with foam tape. The sentiment was made and die cut as well, then I added this sweet star sequin with a shiny red holiday brad!

Friday! Yep, again! This is my LAST post for CHRISTMAS CHAOS over at Bugaboo Stamps. YES!!! I got all 7 challenges done! Woot! I've had so much fun with these challenges and putting some of my awesome Bugaboos Stamps images to good use. For this project I'm also linking up for the HUGE and AWESOMECoffee Loving Cardmakers Winter/Holiday blog hop. If you didn't see it yet, you have to go check things out! Here's my take on Day #6's challenge: Wrap. I chose to make a tag. This funny is featuring Bugaboo's Cocoa. So simple, but super cute!
The base of the tag was die cut from Paper Smooches flag dies. I embossed the Kraft cardstock with a quilted folder, then sprayed it just lightly with some coral colored mist to give it more depth. I printed and colored the Cocoa image (Copics), and die cut the LaLa Land banner. You can see I used the hearts as well as part of the banner. The various ribbons are stapled on. This was fun!!
I am playing along with Verve's "Cup of Kindness" inspiration:
Happy
Friday! Again! (And again and again today...) I've been playing along with the Bugaboo
Stamps Christmas Chaos, and I wanted to get the rest of my posts up. I've had so much fun with these challenges and putting some of my awesome Bugaboos Stamps images to good use! Here's my take on Day #5's recipe challenge with a twist...pick one of the "treat" recipes on the post and ALSO make it funny. This funny is featuring Bugaboo's Stella Christmas - Boy List. Stella, you are my heroine, now and forever!!
This
card is a standard A2 size. The "treat" I chose was "Spiked Egg Nog", which calls for ingredients of border punch, glitter, and polka dots. You can see the embossed swiss dots as well as my polka dot frame layer. I have glitter on the "fuzzy" parts of Stella's Santa hat. The border punch was used on the sentiment tag. Here's
a close up of the card taken at an angle so you can (hopefully) see a
bit better all the glitter:
Good morning stamping friends! I have so many posts today! Keep on scrolling if you're looking for all the "new" stuff. For THIS post, I have a card to share with you today from Wags 'n Whiskers. The new challenge is up and it's #168: Faeries. Well WnW has lots of beautiful faeries, so that makes this challenge a snap! I turned this one into a CHRISTMAS FAERY! Do you see the poinsettias in her hair?? Love it!
I'm sad to say that this is my last post for the Wags 'n Whiskers DT. I've loved my time with Lacey and Nikki and having the privilege to play with all of their beautiful stamps and images. With the end of the term, and the end of the year, I decided it would be a good time to step back and have a bit of a break. Wags n Whiskers was my first DT position after I came "back" to stamping this winter/spring after all of our injuries, surgeries, moving, and construction projects around here. It's been quite a crazy couple of years for our family, but it's wonderful to feel settled and healthy and be going into the rest of the holiday season having those contented feelings with us! Thank you again to Lacey and Nikki, I'm sure you'll see me around the WnW challenge blog, and hopefully all my awesome readers will be joining us as well! For this beauty, I am playing along with Catch the Bug (Bugaboo Stamps) Christmas Chaos. This card features the bingo from Day 7. My bingo is Snowflakes, Silver, and Bling, right across the top. I'm not sure I could have squeezed any more bling onto this card if I tried!? hehe. That's glittery paper, Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the wings and skirt (added qith Quickie Glue Pen), glittery brad on the snowflake, and glitter tape on the side panel. I also used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2-77.
Good morning! Aloha Friday is in full swing over at Kitty Bee Designs! Our current challenge is #62: Christmas,
and this is week #2. The second week is our mid-inspiration, so get the
energy flowing again coming in to the weekend, and let's see some more
great projects!! Get our your stamps and play along! Our challenge this week is sponsored by Oddball Art.
